Except it is craftable and cheap to make.

I would say they should just make Tridents craftable in some capacity, instead of just having a miniature-trident that would make actual tridents obsolete. Tridents aren't very commonly used, so I feel that in the event that you do want to use one, you'd just end up using a dagger instead if this suggestion was implemented. But we'll see (if it ever gets added, that is).

The point is this isn't an option for things like tools.

If you attempt to extract resources back from pickaxes or swords via smelting, if gold or iron, you only get a nugget, it doesn't matter if it has full durability or a third, you won't get any iron or gold ingots, and is therefore a highly inefficient way to recycle or repurpose your materials. The point the OP was making is there needs to be a more efficient way to recycle gear in the event you accidentally crafted something you didn't want or had no use for at the time. Most players don't want to waste time with methods that are disproportional to the resources used.

I am aware, and I agree with the suggestion. But he mentioned that it would allow you to get the iron back from iron blocks, I just pointed out that that's already a feature in vanilla.

That's because they get taken to Reddit. The devs never read this suggestions forum, the support on these forums just help it to be perfected and taken to Mojang's subreddit

posted a message on Idea for HardCore game difficulty

This suggestion is extremely incoherent. It's not well thought out at all. The spelling, grammar and punctuation make it hardly readable (if English is not your first language then I understand). There's no organization of anything. No explanation as to how fast skeletons would fire arrows or how fast creepers would move. Or how much damage slimes would deal with their acid swallow attack thing. It looks like you just made this suggestion in like 2 minutes. You said that skeletons would have miniguns, then you said they would have flame bows. Don't these contradict each other? It's like you forgot when you got to that point that you made skeletons have machine guns and not bows. You can't have a minigun and a flame bow as your primary weapon both at the same time (unless they were holding both, which would be abysmal).

If you want to add an option for Skeletons spawning sometimes with flame bows on hard and hardcore then fine, make a suggestion for that. If you want slimes to have a move where they suck you in then spit you out with an acidic coating, then good idea and you should suggest it and develop it. Don't do it like this. It's basically a wishlist (technically not because the ideas are all related, to the hard hardcore idea); IN HARDCORE MODE I WANT THIS AND THIS AND THIS AND THIS AND THIS AND THEN THIS YAY AND IF YOU DON'T SUPPORT YOU ARE A BABY WHO IS BAD AT THE GAME AHEHAHEHAEHAEHAHHEAAH just no.

    posted a message on GUNS

I also like airplanes, instant teleportation, and machine guns but that would be too OP. Just because you like something doesn't mean it has to be in the game. If you're so desperate for guns why not get a gun mod?

Stop taking him seriously. I think he is being sarcastic.

    Quote from Ouatcheur»

    No contradiction here:

Placing the rope would need you to be at the top. aka "building only going down"

Then you climb down. Then you climb back up. aka once the rope is built, you can move both ways on the rope.

Then once again at the top, you grab the rope back.

Aaaahhhhh. Makes sense. :) Very good idea for this suggestion. Would it be that you have to place the rope below/on your level so that you couldn't place it above you and climb up?

posted a message on Perfecting the Ender Dragon fight
    Quote from Jay29»

It's a bit hard for me to defeat (especially the cages on two of the pillars).

That part is quite difficult, but this suggestion would not affect that part in any way.

If it never went to the return portal then that would be too hard.

I wasn't trying to suggest that she doesn't go to the portal, because that would definitely be too hard, and make the fight more monotonous like it used to be. The fight definitely needs that period of the dragon being easily hit.

And if he were to turn to faster while next to the portal, that would be a lot harder in my opinion.

She doesn't turn faster, she just turns. And it would only be every 3-4 seconds, which would probably be only once every time she goes to the portal, because she doesn't stay there for that long. (The Ender Dragon is female btw)

I mean, he can already knock you far away while hitting him while he's flying next to the portal (and if you're not skilled enough with water buckets, you may die).

I think that this only happens if you try to shoot her with a bow. The only way she hits you far away is if you are in front of her (where you wouldn't be, because of the ender acid breath), because she only flies away forwards in the direction that she is facing.

    No Support.

Did you really have to put this in such a massive text size?

    Quote from Ouatcheur»

Ropes would be the favored way to build only downwards.

Thus, a stack of rope blocks becomes the perfect tool to easily climb down a ravine, then back up, and getting back the full rope relatively easily and quickly.

Don't these two concepts contradict each other? I'm confused. I would love to be able to easily climb down and up my amplified mountain without those impractical ladders that have to be attached to a block.
