He has very worn down battle boots on his feet as well as worn down gloves from the war he was previously in. He never removes his clothing or changes it, he is too attached.

Once he was a happy child who had a strong work ethic and his village believed he had the potential to be their next leader. However, when he was 16, a neighbor tribe raided is village and killed his family in front of him. Throughout the following year, the young child gathered groups of rebels, mercenaries, etc. to attack the village. They successfully capture the village and he left it in the hands of a dear friend.
Now that Nick had destroyed his one enemy, he had nothing left in life. He had no goals, no friends, no family left...so one day he attempted to take his life. As he tried to plunge a sword into his stomach, he heard a voice command him to stop. He looked around in confusion and the voice told him if he listened to what the voice did, his problems would be solved. The voice told him to close his eyes and repeat after him. When Nick repeated these words, he blacked out for what appeared to be years. When he awoke, he had forgotten everything except his name and the basics of life. He forgot his family, the war, his life, etc. But when he looks at his clothing and his sword he has visions in his head. Has his life carries on in Iriliath, he slowly remembers more and more and is unsure if these are even his own memories. Only time shall tell.
