sp614x, I've been using your mod for many months now and I appreciate your work, but I'm disappointed to be unable to use it now because you aren't keeping your 1.7.2 version up to date with Forge. I personally play with Thaumcraft, and the latest update for that mod requires a version of Forge much higher than the version you support. I haven't been able to get this version of Optifine working with any version of Forge suitable for Thaumcraft, and I'm sure this must also be a problem for many more mods and players. I wish you would consider keeping Optifine more up to date with Forge. Thanks. Sorry, it was my fault it didn't work.
I recently lost all of my research points for no discernable reason, while all my unlocked research and scanned items remained. I used Thaumic Cheatery to get my points back, not knowing about the /tc aspect command, and I'd prefer to use that to get my points back because I don't actually want to cheat through all my research, so if possible I'd like to know how I can reset my research points deliberately while keeping my discoveries and scan history.
It seems I've gone unnoticed, but I still have this issue. If this is possible I'd really like to know how.

I really want to play Thaumcraft but Forge won't let me launch my game. I tried multiple recent versions and got the same error starting up (something about a "class exception not found"). This is the only thing I'm using Forge for and I'm sure no other mod is breaking it. I tried installing both Forge and Thuamcraft numerous times both manually and through the launcher I use.
Now that I tink of it, you can directly load your world in MCEdit, select everything, hit the repupolate button and reload your world. Minecraft will regenerate all the ores and trees (also vanilla ones, but cannot compain of abundance)
Would it be possible to reload ores exclusively? I've chopped down a lot of dense forest to make room for fencing, so I'd rather not risk that being ruined somehow.
Are crystals capable of spawning in previously generated chunks? I've been amazed with the depth of the content this mod provides, but if it means sailing far away from my settlements just to harvest crystals in new caves and going back again with an almost immediate shortage, I can't use it. I'd much prefer not to restart my world and lose all the progress I've made.
I really want to make some cake, but incessant right-clicking on a cow with a bucket yields no milk. The cow was inside a closed off area, if that makes any difference. Help pls?
I'm pretty sure the GTS 450 surpasses the 5770. If you insist on buying AMD instead of being cheap you should buy from an actually good brand. The same goes for the PSU.
I am extremely sick of your asininity in this forum. Evidenced by multiple threads, you consistently fail to recognize other people's reasoning behind absolutely ANYTHING, unequivocally attempt to force your fundamentalist ideals on others in any initial reply you make to someone else's post, and are an all-around overly egotistical holier-than-thou ignoramus. Stop posting.
