    Ah. That makes sense. Did you tell the Better Combat mod maker about the crash? It has happening in their code, so I can't fix it from this mod.

    Yeah, that's normal. I couldn't find a good way to prevent it. It's happening because I'm using the same item model as the vanilla tipped arrows for the custom tipped arrows.

    Hey, I've tried several ways, and I can't get any crash like that to happen.

    Actually, looking at the crash report you sent me, it looks like the crash is being caused by Better Combat. I'm not sure what that mod does when you put a weapon in your offhand, but from the report, it looks like it is crashing when it is trying to render the attack indicator (on the crosshair).

    However there's another crash I did not get to report in time because we were still testing it, but we figured out exactly what it is. Tools that get the quality "pokey" have -10% dig speed. Putting this tool in your off hand causes an immediate crash for the player, and they cannot log back in as they'll crash every time unless someone kills them as they login or removes the item manually from their inventory.


    Crash shows as "Error: java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "-10%""


    Do you happen to have a full crash report or stack trace from when the crash happens? That would be very helpful for figuring out the cause.

    Well again you could make it just an option in the config, and turned off by default.


    Oh, strange. Does anything unusual print out in the server log when they get kicked off the server?

    Hmm I see... I'm not going to make the reforging station breakable, but you can make things more expensive to reforge by removing the default reforging items (using the repair items) in the general.cfg file. Then you can add, for instance, iron blocks instead of iron ingots for iron tools and armor in the reforging materials.json file. You'll have to add one for each weapon, tool, and armor piece, though.



    Also, I have released version 1.0.1 for 1.10.2 and 1.11.2, which fixes the crash when mobs pick up certain tools/armor!

    If you find any more bugs, please let me know! =)

    Introducing Quality Tools!


    Description:


    This mod gives tools, armor, and weapons random qualities when they enter your inventory, inspired by Terraria tools. All the qualities, as well as the tools that can get them, are completely configurable.



    Here are a few more examples:







    It also adds a 'reforging station', which you can use to change your tool's quality.



    Use the reforging station by placing your tool in the top slot, and the material you would use to repair it in the bottom slot, then clicking the button.



    If the tool isn't normally repairable, there is a config file that has custom reforging materials for it. For instance, iron ingots for shears. You can add materials there for modded tools that don't have repair items.


    It should automatically use tools and their repair items from other mods as well, like these leggings from Botania.



    There is also support for Baubles, so any items that can go in baubles slots can get qualities. As an example for this, and in case you don't have any other mods that use baubles, I added a simple emerald ring and amulet (which can be reforged using emeralds).

    I can't say I totally understand you (though your english is actually pretty good), but I didn't backport Not Enough Potions because most people were using version 1.8.9 (and the 1.7.10 version of this mod is only a beta version). I'll definitely be updating it soon for the 1.10.2 and 1.11.2 versions though!



    Also, I've updated the mod once again, to fix a bug with picking up the potion tipped arrows, and also added a couple new features, including:

    - A new command /potioncoreconvert that will convert your held vanilla potion or tipped arrow into the potion core version. Not all that useful, really, but if you are playing an adventure map that gives you saturation potions (which are broken as vanilla potions), you can convert them to the potion core potions and use them.

    - Separate invulnerability timers for magic and projectile damage. This means your healing and harming arrows can do both projectile and magic damage at the same time! =D (Also, another interesting side effect is you can now punch a mob taking constant poison damage, since poison damage is magic damage and punching is physical damage).

    - A recipe for the tipped arrows, just like the vanilla recipe.

    Yeah, it did say so in the options at the beginning, but maybe it wasn't clear enough... One thing I do like about legend of zelda is if you do fall in lava/out of the world (that sort of thing), you only lose one heart. I couldn't find a good way to duplicate that with minecraft lava though... it just kills you too fast. =P Maybe I'll find a way to make it a bit less fatal when I finish the full map.

    Yeah, I didn't realize the lantern could light TNT without fuel until I was testing the map. I can't do much about it though... It's a vanilla Minecraft thing (if you ask me you shouldn't be able to use the flint and steel on the TNT if it doesn't have the can place on TNT tag... But oh well).

    Ah. I wonder how that happened... Well, that's easy enough to fix.

    Yeah, I originally had it displaying the actual item, but decided against it in the long run and went with those categories instead. Just imagine having a mod like harvestcraft and crafting 50 different types of seeds with it... it would get very messy to read!

    Don't worry about that; as long as the iron nugget from that mod is registered in the ore dictionary as an iron nugget, it should work the same as the one from this mod.
