I tried to add in another quality (because there are like 1 that increase mining speed while several that decrease) and the modifiers are displaying correctly but the name of it is including both the "quality" and ".name" in-game.

    Any idea why?

Ah, that's because I have a .lang file that translates all the default ones. Just enter the name of the quality directly, and you should be good. =)

Well, that bug is fixed, but I found a new one. 2 actually.

But one of them I can't seem to make happen anymore. I was using a water bucket around a bunch of aquariums in creative and placing water was making the aquariums disappear. It was replacing the aquariums with waterblocks if the bucket was aimed in such a way that it would be targeting a block behind it. Like placing a water block where there is a torch and the torch despawns instead of dropping as an item. I was replicating that bug over and over and suddenly it just didn't want to work anymore, so something's up with that. Bugs don't just disappear, but I'm worried that you won't be able to replicate it and there is no crash report this time.

The other bug is that fish no longer seek out water. They only seem to want to flop Northwest... I was placing tanks in the path of a salmon on a superflat and wound up having to place a few tanks down to make sure he would land in one. Otherwise he might land on a corner or an edge of the tank and continue on a Northwestern diagonal until he drowned. Sometimes the timing of his flops would make it so he used the raised aquariums to launch off of. The aquariums might as well have been dirt. There are two snapshots attached showing that a school of puffer fish is flopping long side a string of aquariums instead of moving towards them. It was repeated.

Sorry again for not switching out the versions sooner, I could have sworn that I already did. It fixed the bug with placing water.

Weird about the tank blocks and water bucket... I tried replicating it, and couldn't get it to happen. If you ever see it happen again, make sure to let me know!

And yeah, I haven't been able to get that AI working in 1.10.2 yet, to make them flop towards water. I'll take another crack at it though.

JAFF (MC1.10.2) is crashing the game when I try to use buckets not point to any block or in certain vertical angles near zero:

That has been fixed. Go grab the latest version.

Hey there. I have a suggestion. Can you add as a optionial module/config Fishes from Pam's Harvest craft?

Also, in the screenshot (with the name of the mod) there are algaes on the bottom of the ocean, is that vanilla?

Yeah, I think harvestcraft fish would be really neat too. I don't have enough time to do that at the moment though, sadly.

The seaweed in the screenshots was actually from biomes o plenty.

    Hey, T! I got a question! Is a 1.11.2 version coming soon? :)

    Of course! =)

    Still happening. It's very strange.

I right clicked at open water with a water bucket and the game crashed, the attachment is a snap shot taken of the exact spot after re-entering the game. It can be done repeatedly.

And here is that crash report. It, for whatever reason, is still showing those other mods.

About that bug, I'm duplicating it again and again, but I looked closely at the latest crash report and saw something VERY strange. JAFF is the only mod installed. It is the only thing in the mods folder that is not a folder shortcut and folder shortcuts inside the mods folder don't interfere with anything. I've been using them extensively for dragging and dropping mods into the appropriate category when I'm not using them since back when I started using mods. But while reading the crash report it states very clearly that "Ice and Fire" and the "Llibrary" needed to run it are present. Says it at the top. Farther down it lists a bunch of other mods that also are not currently installed.

Hmm. Yeah, I see a lot more mods in that second crash report. Weird.

I just posted a new update (version 1.5.2). See if that fixes the crash you are seeing.

Hope my Source helped, since you were unable to update yourself. You could have asked right from the beginning ;)

    https://github.com/zero4q/LivingFishMod

    ...

I had said earlier that the update was almost done, so I did not need your help.

Also, don't create a near-copy of someone else's mod. Not only is it rude to the mod creator, but for your sake too, it could easily get you banned from curse.

If you really want to work on something related to this mod, though, you can create an addon using this mod as a library, that adds more fish types, or more tank types (those empty tanks were interesting). If you do want to, and you need help setting this mod up as a library, send me a pm.

    Quote from il_Vassilon»

    Some status effect suggestions:

    - Bane: it blocks temporally the natural regeneration ability of the player or mob.

    - Deathly aura: inspired in killaura hacks. It causes a damage of one point (half heart) by level each second to near mobs (radius: 3~5 blocks).

    - Stun: reduces the ability of move the head of player.

    Edit:
Also, the vanilla health boost could be used in some potion (potion of longevity?). It is an interesting effect that increases the health amount of player, but, unlike absorption, its additional hearts are regenerable.

Oh, nice. I like those suggestions.

Actually, the health boost is used in making the revival potion. =)

Sorry to post again so quickly! I updated to the most recent version of PotionCore, and it still seems that the horses are unable to jump higher than a block unless I disable the Jump Boost option in the config file.

Oh weird... What version are you using? The 1.10.2 or 1.11.2?

Edit: Oh, I just noticed you said 1.10.2 earlier. That makes sense, since I tested it mostly in 1.11.2. I wonder why it would just do that in 1.10.2... Well, I'll look into that when I have a moment of free time.

    Hey people!

The mod is now updated to 1.10.2! =D

It was taking WAY too long to finish loot overhaul (which I was planning to use to edit the fishing loot), so I decided to release this without that, for now, since it has been a long enough wait...

So yeah, everything is pretty much the same, except the fishing loot changes aren't in yet.

Make sure to report any bugs you find! Enjoy the update!

posted a message on Not Enough Potions - New Brewing Mechanics and Recipes for the Potion Core potions
    Quote from il_Vassilon»

One thing I have noticed is that the recipes are very stacked, I mean.

Most recipes are based on the same basis (awkward potion) and its derivates, which is functionally a little uncomfortable.

It would be a good idea to create one or several new branches of potions, ie, add several new neutral basis potions (without effects, like the mundane and awkward potion).
From these neutral potions, it is possible to repeat some ingredients used in other branches, facilitating the creative task and making the potions of each branch related by conceptual field (for example, iron skin, diamond skin and resistance could be created From a neutral kind of potion different from awkward and mundane).

What about add some new nether plant for create a new neutral potion?

The need of use a new different plant for make some special potions could do to brewing more funny, explorative and complex.

Interesting ideas. You can modify and add new recipes in the config files, so if you wanted to use an existing item like that (like beetroots, or chorus flowers), you certainly could!
    Quote from KidWither»

I cannot seem to be unable to see the portion recipes with JEI 1.11.2- 4.3.3.226, Potion Core 1.11.2- 1.5.1, and Not Enough Potions 1.12.1- 1.3. I'm not sure if you or the creator of JEI need to be notified as I can assume that this is a bug.

Yeah, I noticed that too while testing. I am adding the recipes legitimately, though, so I would assume it is a bug in JEI.

posted a message on Potion Core - Lots of New Potion Effects and Attributes!
    Quote from Xuaran»

I think I found a bug. Could be something conflicting with one of my other mods, though this didn't start happening until I started using Potion Core. My horse suddenly doesn't seem to be able to jump higher than one block, no matter how long I hold down the spacebar. The only reason I think it could be a conflict with your mod is because you do something with the jump effect and holding the space bar to do so (specifically with the jump boost potion) and none of my other mods really do anything with horses. I know it's a little bit of a stretch that this may be wherein the problem lies, but maybe? I'm using this for Minecraft 1.10.2.

That being said, I do love your mod all the same. Some of these potion effects are pretty fun! I can't wait until Not Enough Potions gets updated, too! :)

Well, you won't have to wait any longer. =)

    Also, update!

I fixed the jump boost not working right on servers, and fixed the missing model messages when starting up the game.

    Enjoy the update!

This mod seems very interesting, I don't know why there isn't more replies.

Anyway. I have a question: Does this mod add new status effects?

This mod itself doesn't, but Potion Core, which it requires, does.
    Quote from 8039b553»

Thank you very much for the update, having options to customize gameplay to my liking is so much fun.

If you don't mind me asking, why such an obscure format for Not Enough Potions custom recipes?

Haha, yeah. It's a bit strange. It's the same kind of format I used in Loot++.

Hey, thanks for the mod review! It looks good!

    Update time!

Good news. I've fixed the crash when first reforging on servers, and also fixed the qualities sometimes not recognizing modded tools.

    Enjoy!

posted a message on Sound Filters - A Client-Side Mod (adds reverb to caves, and a few other things)
    Quote from jivix»

    Tmtravlr,

Is it possible to add the default occlusion/reverb values to the config so that we can adjust the base amounts to our personal tastes? I'd like about 70% less global reverb than there currently is, but I don't feel like adding every single type of stone/metal to the config file.

Being able to adjust block groups sorted by oredict categories would be useful (like wood, metal, stone, machine, etc), but less so than adjusting initial values.

At the moment the reverb is too strong for me, it hurts my ears compared to other sounds in the environment, especially when there is a lot going on.

Hmm, yeah, someone has suggested that before. It's not a bad idea.

    Quote from sliter»

For some reason this mod doesn't work with other modded items for me.
At least neither thermalexpansion_rockwool-16-10.0 nor 609-16-10.0 hasn't worked for me.

Can you explain me, what am i doing wrong?
Or items in list should break by some way, perhaps with comma or semicolon?

Did you try ThermalExpansion:Rockwool? It has to be the ID of the block that you would use in commands like /give.

Also, if I remember correctly, each entry should be on a separate line.
    Quote from Tyler799»

    Hey!

Version 0.9 for 1.9.4/1.10.2 has a bug with Industrialcraft experimental.

Mainly, having your mod enabled disables the machine sound effects for IC2. Like the sounds the macerator, furnance, etc, make.

Cool mod, and thanks for listening.

Strange. And they work fine if the mod is removed?

I fixed it by simply renaming a copy of tipped_arrow.json to custom_arrow.json and inserting it into the jar at assets/potioncore/models/item

Ah, good point. It seemed silly to include an unnecessary file (and make the download bigger), but that works.
