Hey man, ever heard of the Realistic Terrain Generation mod? I think it would be a real shame if you just solo'd this mod without working with those guys over at RTG like WhichOnesPink and Zeno410 (also creator of climate control). If you guys work together I think you could probably make the best terrain gen mod imaginable, probably surpassing the popularity of Biomes 'O Plenty and others like it easily.
WhichOnesPink I would like to ask you wherever the terrain featured in the screenshots linked here is possible to generate in MC naturally.
BTW the terrain was created in world machine as part of the Aloud Peak custom map on Planet Minecraft. Considering the terrain generator could generate these kinds of mountains I hope maybe it could help you make such beauty in MC possible
I've been investigating RTG for flaws in the terrain generation, as so in regards to jungles I would like to make the following suggestions.
1. Increase the base elevation of the Jungle M biome to ~80 and make sure rivers generate at Y64. This will generate an elevated semi-mountainous plain with deep 10-20 block wide ravines. Extrabiomes XL produces a less spectacular version with its Extreme Jungle biome. The transition for this should be fairly abrupt with either cliffs or a steep incline.
Extra request- Fix the clay generation in mesa biomes which causes the cliff sides to generate stone instead of clay which produces an unrealistic and ugly effect.
