Umm, no, there are only 3 stronghold per world, and they are generated within 10,000 blocks of the original spawn point
Yes, all strongholds have a portal room, however, if a dungeon, mineshaft, or ravine cuts through the portal room, the portal and anything caught in the generation of the ravine, dungeon, etc. will be destroyed
The 10,000 blocks thing is not true. I found a stronghold on my world that is fairly close to the spawn point.
You know those first days in minecraft when everything is new and stuff?
So i had 9 gold ingots and i was like "wooo check out this rich boy here, i'm gonna make a golden block". I was hosting a survival server playing with two friends.
And then i made the gold block, but misplaced it, so i was just going to break it and replace...
He probably mispoke it. Its already a known fact that the adventure features are part of the "survival mode". And it doesnt make sense to just take it all that have been built up to the game and turn it into another mode, its like puting and them taking it off...
There's no way to tell whether you bought the game in Alpha or Beta. I'm sure they aren't tracking exactly when each and every gift code is purchased. If they were it would be a huge security risk to have this information present. Besides alpha users paid 5 dollars for their copy. We paid 5 times more than you. We shouldn't have to pay additionally for content than alpha users.
Back in the day Alpha users wouldnt have to pay for future content. Beta users wouldnt have to pay for updates, but eventually have to pay for what they called expansions.
But i believe Notch said sometime ago that this wont happen, and everybody will get content for free. But im not REALLY sure of that.
in case you havent been paying attention there adding nether strongholds, potions, a nother dimention and possibly dragons and you say their not adding stuff
You can't expect a balanced, finished game, from a game that hasn't even been released and finished yet. This thread is pointless and idiotic.
But we can see the patterns on wich he develops the game. The game will be released and everything will stay the same. He wont SUDENLY change the way he do things and the things inside minecraft like ZING just because earlier the game wasnt released.

If that is a normal thing to do, no wonder people have a hard time fighting mobs and are scared of steping outside the house when a creeper is nearby.
