Hey! If anyone's interested in a new server {Titania <Titan-ia>} with a more community like population just let me know! Main focus of the server is building to fill the central city (Liberty) up to its outer edges (surrounded by a big wall); also have fun games and a new arena coming! Would love to make new friends and see what you guys can build! Also we all have a good sense of humor so be prepared for some PG-13 buildings lmao.
Definitely feel protected with that dragon. Not sure where the character of the above post is from BUT you always gotta watch out for green eyes. (Myself included ;))
So I've either been running or have been apart of creative servers for some time now, and about a year ago I decided to try something new and build an arena. B-) I actually started with a small 1 vs 1 arena that was fully self functional using command blocks to de-op, survival, clear inventory, etc. and I decided I liked it so much I went a little bigger with a four player arena in mind.
I used an angel schematic as the base inspiration and recolored it, built up around it, and finished the building "shell". You go underneath the angel into the main lobby. That's the building that players in the server see to "enter" (warp to) the arena. The ACTUAL arena is outside the city. Each player warps onto a spot that resets their spawn point to that location. Block pillars of different elements with buttons attached are scattered throughout the four (five secretly) storied arena which give corresponding items (emerald is armor, diamond is weapons, etc.). There are also temple like aspects such as rooms that only open at night, underwater areas that require potions found elseware, and even lava releases that essentially 'flood" the arena. Still working on the scoring system but I recently installed a neat area I call the "poison control room" that actually releases lingering poison potions into a majority of rooms all accessible from a part of the arena that is challenging to get to.
I also use a LOT of forced perspective with floating architectural bits that give the illusion you're actually in a city when in reality it looks like a hot mess floating over the ocean, LOL. (In the picture you can even see a lot of purpur blocks, that's a redstone track to dispensers to spray out the poison I mentioned earlier)
What do you guys think? Any other ideas I could add??
I've always run servers with my friends and always enjoyed making some sick looking spawn areas (and ALWAYS with a castle ;)). Ever look back and realize how much your building skills have improved over time? Definitely a prime example here from one of my first cities to my current one, LOL.
I'll let you guys guess which one is old and which one is current.
Seriously guys, don't be shy. Give it a shot, we've got three people on the server now and would love to go on a journey and make new friends with you guys. Show us what you can build! POST BELOW if interested.

Note 1: Server contains mildly mature content
Note 2: Remember, it is "Grace who has freed us from the shackles of worship"
