SAYS NOTHING ABOUT THE WORD "SCROLLS"
Quote from Tikipaka
Will anyone actually name at least 5 games with the word "scrolls" in the title for me, please!?
Quote from LucasKing55
Stop suing him because you couldn't make a game even beter them WurmOnline so shut up and let him work in peace!
(and if you dont know Wurm it is a game that notch helped to develop)
Quote from Uberknight7172
They said it isn't directly Bethesda, its purely their lawyers being lawyers. I hate lawyers.....
Quote from Minerboy7
this is the stupidest thing i have ever heard. are you kidding? lets go count all the other games with scroll in the title(i'm too lazy to actually do that but there is most likely alot). you dont own the word "scrolls". They are just afraid that because Mojang sells Minecraft, the best game ever, that more people would buy that instead. If you don't look at it that way how about this, you are wasteing money for rights to a word when you could be using to make your game better. I just do not get it.
Quote from ShrickSon
For all of you who are saying that it was the lawyers sueing Mojang, you are way out of line. Like user matty123456, you should be banned from this site. Stop defending Bethesda, they can defend themselves. Anyway, lawyers cannot sue in the name of the company they work for without the company's permission, to do so is a violation of law.
To others who think this sueing thing is ridiculous, I am with you. Sueing over part of a name is unethical. However, if Mojang were to use a name parody, like Younger Scrolls or Scrolls of the Elders, then Bethesda has every right to sue. It is like Apple. People say that they own the rights to the letter "i." This is false. They own the rights to putting a lowercase "i" in as a prefix to the name of a product. So if I were to make something awesome and the call it the iAwesome, Apple could sue me.
And for those of you agreeing with Bethesda, **** off and play a different game. Those of you like sarus92 that think Mojang should leave gaming to the big dogs, remember that all "big dogs" were once little pups, like Mojang, and didn't have many more than a few games.
For those of you who agree, spread this around and let others know of their stupidity.

WTF? There's like....... 1000+ games on the internet that have the word "scrolls" in the title, and I dont see Bethesda suing THEM! SOOOOO UNFAIR!!!
Quote from Tikipaka
Just curious, can anyone list some games with the word "scrolls" in the title for me?

Crowbars generally have a forked, angled nose at the end. You could theoretically stab someone/a zombie through the eye socket and into the brain socket. (i bet that makes a mess, though)
Also makes a great bludgeon.

It's not actually a chainsaw, it's a saw rope. The rope is composed of stainless steel cutting teeth connected in a chain.

The meaning of millions of lives to you amounts to debts?
Children, babies? Elderly?
And people being dead doesn't negate debts.

But... *insert friend's name here* can't be replaced!!! It's such a hard decision....
Not.

$50,000 goes into stock market investments.
$100,000 goes to private charity, aid, and other service organizations.
Now I still have $500,000 to spend. It goes on from there...

Can you just replace London?
Wow. Should I save 1 person, or millions of people?

And they can't still be in "idea development stage"...
Hmm. I'll just have to wait and see.

Now I can finally play Generals and Zero Hour again. I've waiting for forever. Apparently there's online multiplayer, too.
Oh yeah, and there's also the original Tiberium and Red Alert games.
I'm way far away from home right now, but when I get there I'm gonna raze some terrorist outposts right after waiting 2 hours for updates! >_<
