Pokecube Revival adds Compatiblity for the following mods:

    Mod Compatibility:

    Just Enough Items
With JEI, you can see the recipes for the Splicing Device, this shows what fossils can be revived.

    Just Enough Resources
JER can show what each pokemob drops.

    Ruins
different pokemobs, such as unown, will spawn in ruins made by the Ruins mod.

    Thaumcraft
there is a thaumium pokecube for infusing, and pokemobs have various aspects based on their types.

    WAILA
WAILA will display the number of that pokemob captured/killed, as well as the type.

If you have a very old graphics card and some mobs appear white, use this:

    Resized texture pack

I also suggest setting moveAnimationCallLists in pokecube.cfg to false if you need this texture pack.

...are Pokemon Center healing machines and PCs supposed to be indestructible? Because if so, it's a bit silly that you're able to craft and place them in Survival.

Also, sorry if this makes me sound stupid, but how does one hatch eggs? ...or do anything else related to them?

they are not indestructible, just very hard to break, it is to encourage people to leave them alone, and to instead build their own (ones you have placed break very easily with a stick)

Eggs hatch if left sitting on the ground, they will then imprint on the nearest creature to them when they hatch, if that creature is a pokemob, they imprint on its owner instead (ie will be wild if nearby mob is wild, will be owned by you if nearby mob is owned by you)

Hello again, thanks for everything, there is some command or item that allows a certain pokemon spawn in that area that I mark or only 1 appear there (kind that has 1 legendary in that area), thanks for all the help, you are amazing

rather than a command, what you should probably use for them to spawn there, what you probably want is a custom subbiome, you can find info on that here: https://github.com/Thutmose/Pokecube/wiki/Custom-Spawns-and-Subbiomes

Note that the things in that wiki page that reference pokedex have been moved to the pokewatch, so you need to use watch rather than pokedex to see where things spawn.

If you do want a command (say for a 1-off spawn), you can make a command block and have it run

    /pokemake <pokemon> v:x,y,z

where x, y, z are the location relative to the command block for the pokemob to spawn.

To make things "easier" for certain users, I made an all - in - one jar for pokecube.

It will be located here: https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/pokecube-aoi The current release is an "experimental" release as I make sure everything is functional, and I decide on what all to include in it.

Ok, lots of questions here while I'm trying to get this to work. (tears of sadness at Pixelmon's discontinuation), so please bear with me. I'm not very good at all this.

First question: do you need the sound/texture pack to get the mod to work? I assume this is yes seeing as the only starter I seem able to choose is MissingNo.

Second question: can someone provide a link to an up to date (1.12.2) version of the sound/texture pack since I seem to be having trouble finding one.

Third: can I get step by step installation instructions because the one I found that did display as being for 1.12.2 wouldn't load up like a normal resource pack and I didn't understand the instructions they gave.

I suggest following the "How to install" option here: https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/pokecube-pack

Pokecube consists of a few seperate jars:
Pokecube Core, which provides the main code for pokemobs to function.
Pokecube Revival, which provides trainers, and a few extra useful blocks, as well as a whole lot of cross mod compatiblity.
ThutCore which is some helpful code for making misc things work
And Pokecube Mobs, which actually adds the pokemobs.

The only one of those mods which is actually related to pokemon at all is the last one.

Currently I don't have good enough internet to upload all of them in a single jar, anything too much over 10MB fails a bunch, which Pokecube Mobs is already over. There is a resourcepack for higher quality sounds for the mobs on curseforge as well

tbh, I use this program to convert tbl models that people send me into obj models, then import those to blender and re-export as x3d models. I wrote a modelloader and animator for x3d models which I use for pokecube

Hello Thutmose, I have a problem with the mod. When I use custom npc and I use the model of a pokemon after a while it turns out to be invisible, could you help me? Thank you

    In minecraft

    1.11.2

You need to add the mob's name to the preload option in pokecube_ml.cfg, or set preload to true.
    Quote from Robijnvogel»

If I were you, I'd ask Noppes (Custom NPC's) about this first. He should be able to tell you/Thutmose why the pokemon models turn invisible after a while and if Thutmose can do anything about it.

it is caused by customnpcs not running the entity's renderer, and instead trying to use the model directly, pokecube doesn't load models until they are needed, so it doesn't have a model to render. the preload option loads in the models at load time, this makes it take longer, and use more ram, but it fixes this particular issue with customnpcs (also reduces some cleint side lag spikes if you load into an area with lots and lots of different pokemobs all in one spot)

Thank you so much! I should clarify that when told to use ranged moves on a target, they will simply sit still until their target comes into range. If told to use a physical, they wait until their opponent hits them, then tries to fight back. The actual moveset seems to have no effect on whether they follow their owner, though.

While I can't record it, I can at least tell you how it happens, it's fairly easy for me to replicate on 1.10.2. I'll use my Beautifly as an example. I caught it in the wild fully evolved. When released from its cube right in front of me, it will simply sit still on the ground. It's on both stand and follow, as it's flapping its wings. If told to use Mega Drain, it will fire at the opponent if they're in range, but otherwise will not move, even if I move more than 20 blocks away. If not sitting still, it will start flying in tight circles in one spot. The only way it will move is if I recall it and throw it out again. It can be used to fly as a mount, but will go back to its previous behavior when dismounted. Notably, when I threw my Dustox out next to it (Who is also acting in the same way), they mated with no issue and produced an egg as normal. I mainly noticed this effects larger creatures, as smaller flying Pokemon like Rowlet and Noibat will fly and follow their owner with no issues. I hope this helps in some way!

While I have your attention, I may as well ask you this, as well. I put together a little survival Modpack to play in my free time, and it works well. None of the mods conflict, ect. However, when I try to update the four Pokecubes mods (Revival, Mobs, Core, and Thutcore) to their latest version for 1.10.2, it gives me the following crash report. I can't make heads or tails of it, any idea as to how to fix it?

the crash is caused by an outdated version of Pokecube Mobs, the latest for it is this one: https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/pokecube-mobs/files/2489779 the curse.com page is bugged and doesn't show it as for 1.10.2, but it is marked as such on curseforge, and in the twitch client.

I bet the flying issue is something gone wonky with the larger than 1 block wide pathing for flying mobs, I will definitely get to looking into that whenever I have time to do so.

I suggest making sure you have updated to the latest version, that sounds like a bug that existed for about 1-2 versions, about 3-6 versions ago.
