    i Downloaded this sometime ago, and i find i really love this pack. i rate it higher then i do FTB unleashed.
    DNS does not lag nowhere as bag as the other pack. it runs better and more flowed (like waterish)

    i have been running the HD modpack on this thats given by the site. never been a fan of it other then i love the dirt drt/grass and stone blocks. but anyway love to know if theirs a Johnsmith texturs.
    but anyway only thing i do wish is to see a full KEYBORD (mouse) map of the controls so i know where everything is. i did something and now i dont see the names of the blocks i pick up.

    but anyway the best thing i lov about this mod is it cuts down trees with one wack and the hole tree goes down and love the LACK OF THE LAG OMG i can play this. i lov it BIG thanks for the ones that mad this pack not lag. i only wish a few things showed up in the added bomie's (no ones fult here) i might try thw updated pack but im afraid i might have to start a new single player world. xD

    i dont know how i did it on my older computer (laptop) but some how i eidted the world spawn about what spawns and how much and in each ore size.

    would anyone know how i can Edit MC so i can en-cress town spawnage and how big they can get? (im tired of spawning towns thats just 2 buildings.) im Using DNS for MC1.6.4


    im also trying to incress the change my player spawns beside a town something im mostly after along with water falls spawning by water so its more nat looking..

    i like this idea. i wish every town made could turly be on its own lvl. what i mean by this is there be somany type of towns that could spawn even carved into the sides of mountains with better layouts then in the base game (this is fora ll towns) and there could be more the one type of forge any building really. also able to work with other mods like the ones the the DNS or FTB

    This 100%. They should either use the current biome generation algorithm for Large Biomes only (to keep the exploration snobs happy) or make it so that you can adjust the algorithms frequency (i.e. make it so that the temperature gradient only covers a 256 block radius instead of a 1280+ radius as it seems to be currently).

    I guarantee that once forge updates, I'll be downloading the first terrain generation mod that becomes available if Mojang doesn't fix this crap.


    i over all liked the new bomie's but this is not real life who the hell wants to wast time (as u said) to fiind something u want. i always wished they allowed u to use a scall like option b4 u make your worlds so u cave eather larger or smaller areas also have one to control what type of temp u like same for building /town gen. i understand finding a sandy wast land would be harder to find, but i normaly spawn in warmer areas.-_-''


    but anyway i stayed with 1.6.2-6.4 worlds so i can use my mods. xD

    Oh! I misunderstood you then. Transition biomes is a good idea, but they should be probably big enough to make the two biomes out of eyesight of each other, otherwise it's basically the same problem with something new stuck between the biomes.
    I think that, regardless of the solution, Mojang will quickly solve this "one temperature per world" problem, because it is annoying and odd.



    in a way i like the 1 temp (over all) per world (but have it more of a option tho. like not every world would be as mixed as ares. sone could be all jungly and swampy to the point theres no cold. same as snowy worlds (i hate spawning into ) same for a more desert type worlds.

    the earth by far i think is more complaxed then most worlds out there..

    i love exploring also but when its the same thing over and over again it gets boaring.. its like i seen this already type of thing. i gone threw some areas that look to same 200+ blocks away... in life theres more life to see more then 1 type of tree in areas (even if its the same breed they look defrint tho.) THO i wish they added more ruins or city ruins to explore. have a better spawn ablity. like in a frost it looks over grown with trees..

    even add mixed muitly biomes . rolling hills with trees in some areas lakes then a frest with a spook look to it (XD) (all with the same over all lan gen. then in other areas could be leading to moutians and soforth. i do like the idea there higher u go more cold it gets = snow..

    the worst thing to remember is MC is over 6 times the size of the irl earth. i traveled (threw flight) for 4 hrs and i was always in a cannon or some type of desert. i gone 8 ways (left right up and and inbeewn them incase i might of missed something.... i even spawned in a iland with no trees no animals nothing... i was a atles 5 by `5 bloocks at there widest in areas...

    the thing i like to be added is able to have flowers grow and spread out like weeds. (or made into seeds so over all u are able to have more flowers. (put the flower in ur crafting box (x2) and get like 6 seeds out of it. i like the new rose bushes, since roses are a bush over all.. i know cz i grow them irl. xD

    at times in the night i hear something go boom. and it scares the crap out of me, but when i find the cause i only find moon type blocks and when i brake them a moon type crystal comes out the broke block. What the heck is it and what causes it? O_o

    DNS support at all? (i dont know all the mods in it. )

    im still trying to find the best pack im in love with this pack. but last time i used this pack. i got all lava, water ect (anything moving) was a red square with wording. i love the darker classy look of this for my mage tower.. but i had to stop using this because of th issue listed above..

    but anyway thumps up for this mod from thunder. (i tryed this mod in 1.5. )

    im found something kind of simmaler. it was called eagleeye but i had upper and lower cased letters (i thinkg the E's or something cant really ermember since it was around the time thy just added the ablity to have the animals unable to spawn.. (sp since firefox is not showing to fix anything. dono y this ssite does this to me.)

    try " book " (w/o the qoutes) in the new update, u nolonger spawn next to a town anymore. =( but the cliffs and mountains are just as cool that, n theres a sand temple in the first sand area u find, its hard to find since its mostly covered by sand its temple is facing the ocean.. ALOT of gound lvl area the area tho in pools.
