I see I am once again being ignored. But it doesnt matter, I will probably just get more of the same run around from Noppes blaming MCPC+. When these problems never happened before custom npcs was updated to 1.6.2 with the same plugins, mods, jars, whatever he wants to throw at you.

Well as I have been trying to explain. I changed nothing and there is noway I can prevent plugins from deleting my entities.
Only reason I can think of that they are deleting after you updated are
    1. Your plugin changed something
    2. Mcpc+ changed something

Doubt it, because also (I have already said this at least once might I add) we have ran another server with completely different mods with the same MCPC1.6.2.jar file no we had no problem.

Also, there is also another bug within your music programing that; if you select a bard and pick a song, then go to change to another song, without deleting the whole NPC first, it causes your game to crash. You cannot just change from one song to another with a bard smoothly.

Ah right I get messages like that every now and than. It only happens to people using mcpc+ and is most likely caused by a plugin. Disable all your plugins and see if it is still happens and than activate them one by one.

As I already said above about 6 times now. I have already disabled all the plugins/mods except for essentials, because of its importance, and it still does not work. The NPCs do not respawn when they get /killall. They get deleted. Gone. No longer existent. Which they did not do on 1.5.2, NPCs would all die but they would respawn, with the same exact plugins.

What for? The npc cloner in the entities tab shows the names I use for my npcs.

What do you mean what for? Did you even acknowledge the messages I have been posting about 10 times now about the problem I found within YOUR mod? whatever, Ive tried those, "npchumanmale" and it still didnt work.
So I guess we have to deal with NPCs that keep dying out and getting deleted right?

By any chance could I get the name of the entity that Custom NPCs uses? to possibly bypass and have a temporary fix for this problem?
I have tried a bunch already, and nothing. Could be some different name... Like horses are "EntityHorse" for example.

I have a problem with my npc's. i tried everything. when i kill my npc's they dont respawn and i don't use a server or mods that add swords or armour. i tried to Hide body on death and show body on death. i changed the time the respawn. none of these work can someone help?

I have been having the same problem my friend, as seen above. Apparently we have to go and contact our plugin devs because they know nothing about it. lol

from what your saying, the server command clearlag (plugin) doesn't recognize noppes new entities as passive mobs. this saying, shouldn't the command have a config to not wipe out certain npcs? you should get in contact with the plugin maker and ask about this if you wish to help

Did you read the reply I posted? Again, as mentioned above.. /killall is a command with the essentials plugin, I am sure you have heard of it. If you havent, well there is the problem itself. Like I said, clearlagg has a similar command called /lagg killmobs, and that kills all BUT friendly mobs... and Either way, both commands delete the Custom NPCs. Which they did not do before 1.6.2. Both of these plugins did not change their commands in the update.

There is nothing that can be addressed on my side. You'll have to ask the creators of the command

As mentioned above... This did not happen before the 1.6.2 update with the same /killall command. That command is with essentials which is probally the most well-known plugin out there.
Also, A different command with the clearlag plugin does very similar, but leaves certain friendly mobs and that also deletes all NPCs. That plugin has not changed at all from 1.5.2.
So I highly believe it is infact something within the mod.

this is a kill command on a server yes? the server command actually deletes mobs from the map now with the new server software, not just inflicting mass damage

has the server mod been updated?

So there is no way of fixing this? Once in a while /killall is useful for when there is alot of mobs, or if one like an enderdragon is spawned. so, this is quite a big issue. If that were the case shouldnt they still respawn regardless in 20 seconds, or however long you make its time?

Also, I am updated to 1.6.2 Custom NPCs, unless there was an update that was unannouced.. it should be fine.

It appears when you run the command /killall or /lagg killmobs with clearlag, all NPCs get deleted. I know in the 1.5.2 update it killed all the NPCs on the map, which was fine because they would return in a couple seconds.. But now, they completely get deleted and do not respawn like they were never there.

Solved. The problem apparently is if you install a mod called "OreSpawn" then remove it at a later date. NPCs will glitch out. To fix this, just fix your "idfix" or readd the mod. Thanks for the help Noppes

Never hear of something like that before. Id say it would be unlikely

We both are litterly at a loss then, we tested removing every mod, every plugin, updated our .jar which is MCPC, everything we possibly could, tested it all on our second server. Sometimes it works on the second server, but it never works on the main one. We are still trying a few things. Ill let you all know if we find anything. Thanks anyways

I told you before that is mostlikely, because you have extra mods installed on your client side that add entities as well desyncing them with your server. I dunno how many mods you guys have, but its easy to test just add them one by one to your server and client and check where its going wrong.

Could it be possible that it is actually the world file screwing things up? On our second server I rendered a new flatworld map and Npcs worked fine.
