posted a message on Minecraft Should End At 1.10?
I am reading all of your guys' responses and understand a lot of this. Just to clear the air, I will explain a little more by what I mean when I say that the game would be better off without updates. In my opinion the game shouldn't be cluttered. A lot of things is nice, but clutter can ruin it in my opinion. I am ok with it in mods but not in the vanilla game. I fully understand that you can downgrade, but what about your favorite server? If it is 1.XX and your on 1.5 or whatever then you won't be able to play anymore. I feel that not updating the game anymore will bring a TON more mods to the game and maybe bring back old ones (battlegear?) and we will see more updates for each mod (they won't have to worry about the next patch of MC coming out). Another reason, is frankly I don't wanna see the game die. So far I love everything they do but the version now seems like something modded. I don't want them to put things in just to put them in. Frankly I feel the game is already losing it's lust. I'm absolutely not saying it's not good or not fun, but it's far from what it used to be, and I guarentee you, 95% of you don't agree, but it is the truth. I just want the best for the game.

posted a message on Minecraft Should End At 1.10?
I know that a lot of people are going to disagree with what I am about to say but it has to be said. In my opinion I think that Mojang should end development for Minecraft when it reaches 2.0. There are many reasons why I want such a thing to happen. First off being, I don't want the game to get ruined. So far I don't think Jeb has ruined the game yet, but eventually after adding a number of features (and running out of ideas eventually), the game may get ruined in some aspects. Another reason being for modding. I think that by 2.0 they should get the Modding API just about done. If so than once the development ends the modding community can keep the game alive (along with the rest of the community). Although we have a lot of mods now, finishing the game will encourage modders to mod if they have never done it before or previous mods to start back up and it will open new doors for modding. Another reason is so that Mojang can work on other games. I understand that they are already working on other games, but the Minecraft team (once all versions of the game are done, and just about bug free) can work on another awesome game! I love Minecraft but don't wanna see it die, so I think it should be ended at 2.0 (It should have technically ended at 1.0 because the game was out of Alpha and Beta)

I don't think that this would be a good idea at all. The animation would make much sense, and personally I just can't imagine seeing that in the game.

posted a message on Are you going to start a new world in 1.7?
I have already made new worlds for the snapshots. I always make new worlds for the new updates so that all the new features that come with the generated world appear for me.

posted a message on How to turn off shaders in 13w38c?
There are several ways that you can get shaders off and go to the normal tp. The way that I have found to do it, is to just keep changing shaders and eventually you will end up with the default tp.

Yeah, there seems to be a ton of bugs with the /setblock command. This can either be a good or bad things, I think that it is awesome :D

posted a message on Okay. READ THIS.
If you can't update to OpenGL2.1 than you may need a new computer. If you can't afford one or you just don't want to drop some dough than you could always play the outdated versions (1.6.4 and below)

What would the point be. All you have to do is download mumble, skype, teamspeak, etc and you can just talk on there.

posted a message on Why Are the 1.7 Snapshots So Bad?
So far, I like all the features. Sure there are some that I don't totally agree with, but I am ok with change in Minecraft. I think that adding naturally spawning melons in the jungle gives more realism to the game. Just to let you know, if you don't like the snapshots/update, you don't have to play on them.

It actually isn't as hard as you may think to get someones IP address. I don't know if bukkit essentials gave it to him or not but don't stress out about this. It is probably just a 12 year old on the internet trying to scare you.

posted a message on How To Put Multiple Commands in One Command Block?
I am trying to make a contraption where I use the /setblock command and I want to put multiple blocks down using only one command block. How do I put multiple commands. Putting a comma between doesn't seem to work.

posted a message on Gmod question
GMod is its own game now. This means that you can buy it and play it without HL:2, or CS:S, etc. But if you have the money, than I do recommend that you buy either CS:S, HL:2, CS:GO or download TF2. The reason that I say this is because you get extra items when you have these games. Another thing is if you want to play a gamemode like TTT You need CS:S For the guns, etc. But I would recommend buying any or all of those games (there are more that can go with Gmod, I just didn't list them all).

posted a message on Battlefield 4 - Pc or PS3?
It depends on what you are looking for. All around Battlefield (or ANY game) is better on PC (but only if you have a good gaming pc). The reason is because powerful gaming PC's are MUCH stronger and more powerful than any of the modern consoles (even ps4, Xbox One). This means that you are going to get better fps on PC and better graphics (I had Battlefield 3 originally on Xbox but than got it on PC and saw a HUGE difference in graphics quality and fps). But the thing is do you prefer playing on a keyboard and mouse or a ps3 controller, and is your pc good enough for playing a game life BF3, or if you don't have one, are you willing to buy a good one. BTW if you play on PC you can hook up an Xbox controller (or PS3 controller) to your PC and play on that if you are more comfortable with playing on a controller.

posted a message on Best Game Ever
I like COD as a game (there are better fps's but COD isn't that bad), but this guy is such a fanboy! I can't agree with most of the things that he said. First he said David Vonderhaar was a genius which is a lie, he is an idiot (if he is such a genius why can't he make a game with more realistic physics). I can tell that the poster of this topic is probably 12 (He could be an adult but the way he sounds, he sounds like a kid). He also said that the game took skill and was balanced. The game takes no skill (it takes no skill to camp) and the game is most certainly not balanced (You shoot a guy in the head with a whole mag and he runs up and knifes you).
