Welcome to Wolfhound Dungeon, a highly detailed 64x64 texture pack with entirely hand-created textures. This is a variation on the original Wolfhound. This pack features very dark colors, a sinister feel, and as many blood splatters as I could manage.

This doesn't look like default Minecraft! It's not supposed to. Wolfhound Dungeon brings a new theme to your game, giving you a totally different look without installing mods.

    Terms of Use

What can I do with this pack?
    • use it in a Youtube video, include a link back to Wolfhound
    • use it in a remix pack for redistribution, include credit and a link back to Wolfhound
    • alter textures for a remix pack for redistribution, include credit and a link back to Wolfhound
    • use (altered or unaltered) in a map for distribution, include credit and a link back to Wolfhound
    • use it for any of the above purposes without first asking permission
What can I NOT do with this pack?

    • claim it as your own work
    • put it under any sort of link that makes you money
    • upload it to websites as a texture pack. In other words, don't go to some website that distributes texture packs that I'm not already on and upload it yourself. I need to retain control of this pack so I can keep it current.
I've relaxed my standards on what you can and cannot do with this texture pack because I'm making this for the community and I want the community to be able to use it and benefit from it. There's no advantage other than ego-stroking to keep it exclusively to myself. Just don't claim it as your own.

And make sure you're following the TOS of anywhere you use it.

Thanks so much for the list! This is super helpful, as always. I've been working on it a bit as the snapshots have progressed, but they keep changing file names around so it's great to have a definitive checklist to work off of. Hopefully at least default Wolfhound will be ready to go when this is officially released.

I currently cannot use the Customizer, the categories are not expanding when I click on them.

    I use FF 60.0

EDIT: I think it is working now, so nvm.

EDIT/ADD: Also, I don't know if it is because of the resolution of my particular screen (or my eyesight), but unless I zoom the page to 150% [+50% size that is], the images where a bit small to comfortably be able to study their details.

..now to make a pack :D

I fixed it late last night and then realized I didn't have my login saved on my laptop for the forums, so I figured I'd pop in here in the morning and let you know it was fixed. But you found it first!

Some of the images are scaled down, like the GUI and other large mobs, but the regular blocks and items should be the right size. I want to figure out a better way to display the larger textures at some point.

Okay, I've got the bugs figured out. I have a fix for the animated textures. They were missing a file that tells Minecraft how to animate them. I also know what's wrong with the brick and wings and stuff, but don't actually have a fix for it yet.

Nothing is going out tonight though, I need to upgrade what version of the language I'm using and that might go horribly wrong when I deploy to the server. Maybe by next week.

I "fixed" the UI by removing those files. I'm not ready for the GUI to be available in the customizer. I need to finish redoing it.

Thanks for the heads-up! I took a look at the new textures. I think the stripped logs and kelp blocks will just be recolors of the same textures. There's not a whole lot of room for variation on those. The kelp plant and tridents can be unique textures. I'm still debating on the turtle. I might need to do some googling on different turtle varieties to see if there's enough kinds to fit all the pack types.

I don't think it'll be too bad. I like doing plants and it's not like the big color update. That one was a lot of work.

I've added the customizer to github. This ensures the code will stay safe in case something catastrophic happens to my laptop and also gives other people access to it. There's also an "issues" tab where you can report problems or request features. Have fun!
