posted a message on Tall metal structures attract lightning.

I wouldn't think that real life sciences would apply to Minecraft, after all, you have dragons, floating islands, Creepers, and other things that aren't possible in real life.

Even in a fantasy game you want some logical structure. Realism is fine as long as it doesn't affect gameplay or dampen any experience or theme a game has. The idea is fine only for the actual metals.

Yh got that from a while ago just wanted to see if yall would give me something new and you just did. Ik you dont care but im sticking with my point but now am gona let someone else take this arguement cus im so tired its 1:51 here

Looks like you've been proven wrong at every angle. No point in making a thread if you're just gonna ignore everyone's criticism. "Guys it's my point of view!!!" means nothing. gg.

Or we could just let this thread die so we never have to argue about guns again until the next gun fanboy emerges. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    This.

    - *Cerroz posts a bunch of good points*

    - "Okay I'm tired of arguing!"

    - "still tired!"

    - "still posting but still tired tho!"

Yh well i tried ,sad the way no one can see what i see, and go on try make fun of me some way, and nope not new to mc and not young well depending on what you call young, tho i am new to this twitch thing

Please stop acting like we're picking on you. What is there to see? This idea is guns-should-be-added-because-swords-are-boring. You're trying to argue a lost point that many others have for years. Don't say other people are making up reasons. That's just arrogant and nasty. Especially after all the invalid argument cards you tried to play.

I have a great suggestion for a major update, I think everyone would agree with it.

Probably a good idea to not speak for everyone. Not only do these mobs go unexplained but some sound pretty clichéd and weird.
    Magnet creepers? Nope.

    Scarecrow goblins? What?

i could go on suggesting more stuff if interested.

You're hardly suggesting stuff. You're just giving us names of things with no details at all. I'd recommend visiting the suggestion guide.

You may not support this idea but...

    Although this may be stupid.

Probably not the best way to begin a suggestion.

Can you add that ocelots will kill any creeper on sight?

And if you tame a cat and hit a creeper, the cat will attack it.

The cat would just be walking into a suicide mission. There's a reason why other mobs don't attack creepers. So provoked creepers don't leave "self-defense craters" everywhere.

posted a message on Guidelines for the Suggestions Forum

Could we implement some sort of pop-up system that tells the new kids that they're about to post in an ancient thread? Which isn't a crime on it's own, but there's still those not-smart posters that say stuff like "loool I agreee" on threads that were made in like 2011.

Also, this is literally the only forum I've ever been on that has some sort of awkward "troll protection". Non-trolls get punished more than the actual trolls. That's pretty sadly impressive.

Some things are bad. That's not a terrible thing to say. There's nothing wrong with it. It is simply a statement that describes reality. Though as a starting point, something for beginners as this thread is trying to be for? I'd say that micro-scale arguments don't fit into it, even if we'd love beginners to know them. It's more something for those who would like to be here a while or would like to earnestly put effort into one of those suggestions.

I wish more people understood this viewpoint, instead of seeing it in the most extreme one-sided "all or nothing" way of thinking. Going "suggest whatever you want =D" is not a full positive in a forum like this. Not with things that already negatively established even outside of this forum.

Some suggestions are a permanent no-win situation, no matter how you try to rationalize yourself out of it, or blame the forum for "just not getting it!"

These sound like balance-scrambling pieces of armor with pre-enchantments on them. Not something I'd want in vanilla...

If you want to know about suggestions that usually fall through the cracks, I'd recommend reading the unofficial suggestions guide. Or at least the portion about 'inferior suggestions'. /notpluggingatall
