Somehow I don't get why mods like this get showcased but bigger ones don't.
Maybe they only showcase "complete" mods
I think its more to showcase the "lesser known" mods, putting the spotlight on an already popular mod doesn't make much sense.

StuffTheChicken just created this mod 5 hours ago, I'm not sure if it was based on your request, but it adds exactly what you want.

I'm glad minestrappolation 5 is still being worked on, but isn't Elucent already porting minestrapp 4 to a newer version?

Here you go.

...isn't this what the crafting table is for?

Its been a week and still no reply, I don't think it will be added, so you could try if you're still interested.

I was actually planning on deleting this since it might get added to quark, but if it isn't added, that would be nice.

The aether II takes place 200 years after the aether I, the silver dungeons are in ruins and the gold dungeon would just be an empty room since the sun spirit is dead.

a few years ago, Pesquera made this suggestion, someone even tried making a mod for it, but it was never finished, it would be great if someone could make it into a mod, I have textures for the blocks and items if anyone needs them.

Better With Mods is a 1.10 port of Better Than Wolves, the mod adds a ton of stuff that fits great into vanilla, but the mechanical power system it adds might be considered game-changing, if you try it, make sure to disable the hardcore modes in the config.

You should also check the Better Than Wolves wiki if you're confused about anything the mod adds.

You need to plant them on tall grass. (the plant, not the block)

Already exists, https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/aether-legacy

Well, its also pretty weird to make an entire new mod for a feature from another mod, anyway, you could use minetweaker or something to remove the recipes of the other furnaces.

I'm pretty sure everything in better beginnings can be configured, just disable everything you don't want.

Doesnt this already exist in better beginnings? just use that instead.

It would be helpful to know what version you want it for, but tough as nails adds a temperature system to 1.9, 1.10, and 1.11.
