to something else. When you have it as .glass, then it will allow you to see through it. If you have Material.iron (I think), that doesn't support the transparency, so you could see through the map.
Hey dude, Could you tell me when this gets released? I'd like to use it, and mod spotlight it :3 (for my first one)
Will do!
I'm probably going to wait till 1.8 is released so I can add scorpions, hopefully.
If I get scorpions to look right, then I can possibly make them poison D:<
Oh believe me, I tried. I had it looking good, but then I found out that I had everything in the wrong direction, so ingame it would walk sideways. I rage quit to say the least. I was going to give it another go later.
I will NOT be updating right away. Since Notch made a huge change to healing (and took the beef and chicken idea :tongue.gif:) I'll have to change a lot, and I don't want a bug fix to force me to restart. I will wait a week or so after the update, till the bug fixes slow down, and waiting for MCP and ModLoader to update.
Finished Moving Animations!
I'm going to mess with Hit Boxes a little bit tonight, and look up some tutorials. Hopefully by the end of tomorrow I will have they all sorted out, or at least an easy way to do it.
Once I figure out the hit boxes, We're ready for release!
Remember: It will be in early development so there won't be anything special, like taming, riding etc.
Oh, well aren't they usually in the desert? Also, I don't want it to seem like I am telling you how you should make your mod, but Salamanders should probably be in the swampy lands.
Don't worry, I accept all feedback, positive or negative. I enjoy when people challenge me because it makes me think which can make the mod change in good ways :smile.gif:
And no, Hyenas are in Savannahs along with Lions, gazelles, zebras, elephants, etc. Salamanders would also be in the desert. Lizards and Alligators would be in swamp lands.
1. What's a hit box?
2. Weren't you working on the mobs mod?
The hit box is basically where you can hit the mob. If the hitbox is bigger than the mob, you don't even need to hit the mob to deal damage. If it's smaller, you can be hitting the mob but doing no damage.

If you don't know what I mean, it's this in the EntityName file:
Basically it says where you swing, if it will hit it or not.
Is there an easy way to find what numbers to put in, or is it just trial and error?

Here's the main topic, with the table of content:

This one skips straight to the custom animations (I'd recommend going to the first link):
