Dude, your taking this to far, it's the same relationship as runners in mirrors edge. What do you call people who like to run in real life. I still think that he should be called steve. It is nonsensical, as the minecraft player can be whatever you want. In no other game can you re-skin your player.

    I call them athletes.

In Mirror's Edge, she's called a runner, after what she does.

In Minecraft, he'd have to be called a BuilderMinerExplorerFisherFarmerFighter. And that's just dumb.

Meanwhile, he's free to call Steve whatever he bloody well pleases at any given time, and this is rendered a pointless suggestion either way.

If he was suggesting a species: Human.

If he was suggesting a professional title: BuilderMinerExplorerFisherFarmerFighter

And both are already available with no change at all to the game.

Oohhhh I see. Cause books primarily don't have a use except for making bookshelves

That's why a thousand threads have demanded players be able to write stuff in them.

I'll let llama advertise himself at this point. *coughcough*Click here! Click me, click me!*coughcough* :iapprove:

At least you understand what I'm saying. Something like "crafter" as you suggest is exactly what I mean.

What are people who build **** called in reality? Problem solved. Suggestion pointless.

Really, the issue the OP has is the graphics of Minecraft. They don't make Steve look flawlessly and exactly human, like GTA IV or some ****, so he obviously must not be human.

And to that I say: Shove it.

Why are looking so far into this? All I suggested was a simple name. Technically the name "Minecraft" is pointless, minecraft is a "game". But "Minecraft" gives it it's own title as to distinguish from other "games". Why can't we do the same with the character? If you hear the word "human" you would not think of the minecraft character just as I you heard the word "game" you would not know it's referring to minecraft. That is the point of names, if you weren't aware.

I'm not looking far into it. I'm just indicating the abundant flaws in your crappy argument employing Halo and those other games, as well as that nonsense about creepers earlier.

It's a human. Deal with it. Just as Chimera are Chimera, Sackboys are Sackboys, SPARTANS are SPARTANS, runners are runners, and creepers are creepers.

You calling apes human too? They fit those categories.

Well, apes certainly aren't "nothing like humans" then, are they?

Books already have a recipe. Why not add this function to books?

Pencil? Feather + ink. Quill. More sensible.

Going back to my example, in halo they are called Spartans, but are really humans. In littlebigplanet they are called sack boys but are really puppets or stuffed animals. In resistance they are called chimera but are really humans. In mirrors edge they are called runners but are really humans. Now do you understand what I'm suggesting

In LBP, they are boys made of burlap sacks. SACK BOYS. Essentially, their species. In the case of the Minecraft character, this species is human.

The Chimera are a parasitic alien species. Not human.

In Halo, they are altered supersoldiers named after the famously war-bent Spartans of ancient Greece. Not all humans are called such. Just the supersoldiers, to separate them from the rest.

In Mirror's Edge, "runner" describes a profession of sorts, implementing parkour (running) to deliver secret messages and such throughout the dystopia. Much like "teacher" denotes one who teaches.

So again, the Minecraft character is called a human, just as creepers are called creepers, because those are the respective names of each species. No need to make up a new one.

Its not supposed to have a point it's just for fun or to better define a minecraft character other than "minecraft character". Your attitude would suggest you think the name creeper is pointless, would you rather have them be called "green monsters". My idea is just the same.

"Creeper" is the SPECIES of those exploding green things.

"Human" is the species of the Minecraft character.

Don't spout incompetent crap at me next time.
