No prob. I personally would love to see a slight bit more variation on weapons in 1.15. Perhaps something like spears, halberds and stuff, similar to Mine and Blade? Those were epic.

Sure, it's a really well-done mod, and quite expansive:

I'd really hope for a future implementation of TangoTek's idea. It seems quite nicely fleshed out, and is actually well-balanced. At least imho.

Sweeping edge used to boost how much damage is dealt to the other mobs hit by the sweep attack, with the highest level making it almost the same as the damage done to the main target (i.e. if I hit a zombie with a diamond sword enchanted with sweeping edge 3, any zombies close to it would take some damage as well, with additional damage to the other zombies coming from the enchantment itself.)

Which is why I use MultiMC. I can quickly update and not have the bugginess of the vanilla launcher.

The only thing I don't like is sweep requiring the enchantment. I'd prefer it to just boost the damage spread, thank you very much.

Sounds cool, I'd love to help with that, as I have some decent experience with creating websites, and perhaps a bit of beginner experience with a forum. I could look up more info on that, and have it run and maybe even get a Patreon or something to help pay for the cost of hosting it, to keep it up. Of course, we'd need rules as well, and I'd say the rules here would do perfectly.

It's too bad that there'll not be a replacement site, besides the stuff you mentioned, though I'm pretty sure hardcore fans of this site will undoubtedly try to make a fan forum for people to go to. The staff here won't be against that, right?

Honestly the lighting engine rework should improve performance, which will be a boon for me as I've been waiting for more performance improvements.

A crash report would be nice. Also, report it to Mojang through their bug tracker, will help a lot with making everything work better, and prevent future crashes: https://bugs.mojang.com/projects/MC/issues/MC-127505?filter=allopenissues

Now if only it could be used on sand underwater to make seagrass. We need a way to essentially "farm" the food needed to breed our turtles.

I feel so hyped I want to make a working computer then make another one and make the internet entirely using redstone!
Good luck, and if you manage it, let me know. We can advertise MC internet service to any Minecrafter. BlockCraft Internet company.

Now we're getting there. Will still take a long time for Forge to adjust, and mods will break like crazy. So many mods may die because of this major update. We need a mod API soon, to stop this mod purge. Please, at least think of the modders.

Yikes. I'm glad i'm holding off doing the test run on this. No wonder they haven't dropped the new version out and their plannig split this apart into multi-version update.
Yeah, I'm waiting until at least pre-release 2 or 3 before even trying this update.

Phoenix SC noted the memory issue with the main menu, and other things including bugs with dolphins. My god, the problems. Just watch his video.

Thanks, this may be the closest I can get. Coulda sworn there was a tunnel bore from a tech mod like Railcraft that did that, but I guess I must've mixed the two up. Though imagine if it did that for any gravity affected blocks to keep them from falling on you. Would've been perfect.

Updated my design ideas, thanks to the Create mod. Made things even better, and even more efficient. Using this water wheel design to power a wheat farm, and a windmill to grind the wheat into flour for bread.

I think you'd need to add the crew while your ship is constructed in the overworld, though I don't know if ships can hold other mobs while they are assembled.
On another note, anyone create nice capital ships and the like, for example the USS Sulaco, Star Destroyer, USS Enterprise from Star Trek, etc.?

Nice, if there were ever a mod adding stuff from the game The Forest, this island would be absolutely perfect for the map.

Could this work for other models too? Particularly flower pot, torch, cauldron, minecart & variants, etc.

Alrighty. Good to know. Don't let it get in the way of real life and stuff like that. If you need a breather to regain focus and drive, do so. I'll still support you, no matter what you decide.

Nice. Are the tarpon and manta ray planned, or are they just not going to be added? Also, noticed the variety's gone down in the fish over the course of the last few updates. Any idea why?

Site 21 webpage is also not working. Please let us know when a functional site is ready to use. I'd love to download this.

Yeah, so long as you bring a block of sand to place it on, cause it only grows/can be placed on sand.

I know it's been almost three years since the start of this topic, but I'd like to try this challenge in the new Minecraft versions.

I was thinking of a simple invasion-style mod that involved the Tao Tei monsters from the movie The Great Wall.
If you haven't seen the movie, starring Leo DiCaprio, then here's a pic of the monsters I'm talking about:
These are the suggested stats for the mobs:
Health: 50 points/25 hearts for soldiers, 80 health points/40 hearts for guards, and 100 health/50 hearts (half as much as ender dragon) for the queen
Armor: 16 armor points (8 shields), 24 for guards, 32 for queen
Speed: About that of a spider for all
Damage: 5/10/15 for soldier, 8/10/12 for guards, and 4/6/8 for queen (she breeds more, but can still dish out a decent bit of damage if needed)
Special Note: Weak point on the head, that when hit causes them normal damage, ignoring armor. Explosive damage ignores armor.
Mod function:
The invasion would start similarly to Hostile Worlds, with a meteorite landing in a random location (a queen, a couple guards and several soldiers will spawn inside to start off, and will kill off nearby mobs to feed the queen and spawn more Tao Tei over time). They would invade once every 6 in-game days (about once every two hours IRL), mainly since 60 years is too long. This should allow even the noobiest player to have a decent start with armor and weapons. If they manage to kill the queen, they end the invasion, but get a special meteor summoning item to start another invasion to test their skill.

Hmmm, if you guys have ever heard of the quiverbow mod, I think some of the weapons would be pretty cool to see in the base game. Well thought out, balanced, using vanilla materials and even having some slight lore behind their construction. I think they'd be perfect.

Yeah, sucks that they're doing the exact same as some other mod devs, just not updating to new versions because "it'd be too much work". All they need to do is relegate the 1.7.10 version to bugfixes only once it's feature-complete, and then either do the 1.12.2 rewrite or hand it off to a highly trusted 3rd party while maintaining creative control.

I'd like to see one like the book in Varied Commodities, which allows you to place it anywhere and edit it anytime.

Hmmm, perhaps try a wireless connection and see if that changes anything? Also make sure the network connection works on your end. Might just be the cable.
