posted a message on Looking for Skylands generator
I just want something to make skylands available by option, either through the world generation menu's or just something basic that makes all my maps skylands, including the new biomes if possible.

Or if its something from scratch, then just floating islands over an endless ocean even would be nice.

I want a skylands map, is there a mod somewhere so I can set a map to generate as skylands at creation? (Like how you can choose flatlands, big biomes etc)

Anyone want to help me, I keep getting error 0180511 when trying to join someones town (Ex: MissingNo's town) (Please don't say the DMZ thing I don't trust my self that much)

Its an issue with your internet, either there is a firewall or your 3DS is having trouble with the security settings. Putting your 3DS on an access list (if your router has it) might help, or switching the security settings a bit and trying again could correct it. It seems to happen to a lot of people from what I've seen in forums. People just kinda mess with their router settings until it lets the game work.

I have a Netgear router and it works fine, I can also run it off my Galaxy S3 (though people cant visit because it lags on my S3)

posted a message on Kids These Days
I started working at 12 years old (I am currently 25) I worked at my uncles roller rink as a cashier/host and DJ up until I was 17, doing 4-8 hours a day every day except for sundays, getting paid in peanuts practically. Because of this though I saved money, I could afford stuff I wanted even though my family was rather poor. At 14 I was contributing to the rent every month. Now days I havent gone longer than a month or two without a job, even in this bad economy I have the drive to seek a job, any job. I did chores, had a social life and a job, I did NOT have a cellphone and I did not get into computers and games until I was about 16, even then not excessively.
My older brother who didnt work until he was 19... has been unemployed and mooching off people for the past 5 years because of general laziness.

Asking this question in these forums is silly as the majority of those answering are kids who do not want to do their chores, though I think it is something they need to think about. In this economy life gets hard fast, you cant live off your parents forever, and you'd do better to learn about the working world early ESPECIALLY if you're going to college because you need to save up money NOW for living, you'll be in debt for many years to come just to pay for college, and most likely wont get your dream job. You'll be working out of McDonalds for the next 10 years struggling to pay off your debts before you get any serious sort of interview in your field. Minimum wage jobs are requiring college degrees now days because they can.

If you want a decent life you need to get a head start on your peers, obsessing over girls/guys, playing games and checking your facebook isnt insuring any future, and your parents are most likely struggling as it is. Don't put the weight of your debt and laziness on them.

...I can hang paintings on glass blocks and glass panes. O.O

The pipes I agree with. I don't use them and am always cycling past them. I do use the curtains and 'windows', though. And I like to decorate my workshop with the hanging tools.

I think what I'll end up doing is creating some paintings of my own to use. It'll take time, but I could offer them as alts for people who don't like to decorate with other stuff.

I really feel like the cabinet doors/curtains/windows are one of the selling points of the pack.

Would love some alternate options for the paintings!

Uh, I don't appreciate your constant "any more support?" bump posts, but this is a well-thought-out suggestion that I'd like to see in game.

I just dont want it to get buried because no one really uses the search function when looking at suggestions they just sort of spew more stuff out.

Support. And although some people think quests aren't very minecrafty, they wouldn't be like an all-consuming quest that must be done. It would be more casual, more... Well, minecrafty.

Yes there is nothing forcing people to do quests to progress, it is just an added feature for map builders :3

SUPPORT. NPCs need some more content. Was expecting a "we should has villagers give us dimonds 4 questing lololo" thread. Pleasantly surprised. Nice job.

I am at the point in game that I can play vanilla and get diamonds in just an hour... so if anything I think the game should be harder, and NPCs just handing out diamonds doesnt sound like an improvement XD.

Thank you for your support! As I've said to everyone else that has posted, this would only affect maps where story and adventure builders add them, they would not be naturally occurring unless Jeb decided to add in a random quest generator as part of map generation. Either way, questing is in no way required for people to advance in their game play, it is just an additional feature for Map Builders to play with, and players to earn items if they wish.

NPCs must have lots of features like personality and influence, but i don'y like quests, its not RPG

The Interactive NPC/Questing is made in favor of map makers who make story and adventure maps. Many great LP series play adventure and story maps, and this would allow more people to make stories and quests for their maps with out the aid of mods which many new minecrafters do not know how to install. Many new players want to play the maps they see their favorite LPers play.

Minecraft is a Sandbox/Survival/Adventure, this suggestion would not change that as it is a creative item only the ONLY way it would affect the survival aspect is if someone cheats and puts it in world.

I fully support, and will guard this suggestion with my life. Its a well thought out "Add Quests" idea with organization I havent seen for a long time.

Also, to people who say "Minecraft isnt an RPG", RPG stands for Role Playing game. In Minecraft, you Play the Role of a Miner/Farmer/Hunter/Lumberjack/Builder etc. Minecraft is an RPG.

Thank you for all the support! And I spent around 4-5 hours on and off organizing this between building a map as I thought of what would be nice to have XD so I'd hope it is as organized as I could get it! I wanted to make it an easier read because of all the people who 'TL;DR' stuff here x.x. Anywhoo! Thankies for your support! Dont forget to poll and share this with others! The more support it gets the more likely we could get Jeb to take a peek at it!

This is an awesome idea. While some may argue that quests are not very "Minecraft-y", I think this is something villages have needed for a long time. I love the idea of creating your own quests, and I think it would work great with adventure maps. I fully support! :)

Well villagers can already trade, adding a questing system would just be adding a bit more advanced system to it is all. I really dont think it would be a game breaker. Adventure maps really need this, it would mean people wouldnt have to install mods just to enjoy an adventure map that needs quests! =) Thank you for your support!

(I didn't found Minecraft's Font. So i used Comic Sans MS)

Thank you for your support n.n I wont hold Comic Sans against you =p

This is the most thought out and best explained quest thread I've seen. This would be great for maps.

    Double support

Thankies! I feel that if you completely map out a suggestion it is more likely to be considered seriously rather than just posting "I want questing kthxbai" XD
