The potion crafting tree is too difficult, but besides that I like potions..
It's actually quite simple. Lemme break it down for ya (these are just the bare minimum of course):
Add Nether Wart to a bottle of water. This is what I like to call a "precursor potion" as it leads up to pretty much everything.
You then have a few choices:
Add a glistering melon for health
Add magma cream for fire resistance
Add a ghast tear for regeneration
Add blaze powder for strength
Add sugar for speed
Add a spider eye for poison, and lastly
Add a fermented spider eye for weakness.
From there you can do one of four things:
1. Use the potion as is
2. Add glowstone to the potion to make it more potent
3. Add redstone to the potion to make it last longer
4. Add gunpowder to make it throwable
The point of potions is their randomness. You're suppose to experiment with them. And hey, since Splash Potions were added, if you DO get a negative potion, it doesn't mean it's useless.
I really wish Notch would just, you know, make his mind up on things instead of acting like a kid with ADD looking around for the next shiny thing. TBH, splash potions was a brilliant idea, and I love it, considering all those bad potions now have a great use.
Oh hello, haven't seen a "Complainer Complaining about Complainers" thread 'round these parts in awhile.
Honestly, OP, you're just stating the obvious of what everyone else is thinking. It's nice that you've finally joined the nation of smart Minecraft players and all, but it wasn't really necessary to make this thread, as there are already tens of thousands of threads stating the same thing. Sorry to burst your bubble, mate.
It looks like a black skeleton with glowing eyes is holding the sand block. I have a feeling that they're going to use their surroundings as their weapon.

It's better than the whole Super Mario II ending Notch made.

He's talking about how "The End" in it's current state is basically all cobblestone.
Honestly, I, like many others, have extremely high expectations for "The End", but it won't be all cobblestone for long, my good man. Just you wait...
