posted a message on How do I record Minecraft with no lag?
    #1 have a good computer
#2 have good (paid most likely) recording software
#3 encode it perfectly ( i dont know the entire encoding settings)
#4 if any of these didnt help, then you are going to have to record with lag.
#5 there is no such thing as no lag!

Oh. Sorry, Walt_Disney_II, I haven't been on the fourms for so long and don't know all the old/new-ish posts. So sorry though. :(

Hard question. Personally I'd take this as a suggestion, but I looked up in Minecraft Discussion and it's pretty complicated. I'm not sure which one.
    no problem :P

I'll just type this as I read through your post.
What's with all the "pics will come soon" hidden in spoilers? It's very inconvenient to look through everything.
How is the obsidian furnace one step up from the gold furnace? It's like, two steps up from the gold and one step up from the diamond.
Okay I'm done reading and there's a few issues.

The upper tier furnaces (diamond, obsidian) are too fast. Diamond and obsidian isn't even that hard to find.
All the furnaces are overpowered. They last forever and it's just benefits and benefits and benefits (for the standard no-special-ability furnaces).
Maybe the furnaces should slowly be destroyed like the anvil? Otherwise it's just too powerful.

And your thread could do with a little more organising, such as the spelling errors.
Also, it would be nice if you described the current smelting speed as 1, and compare the rest as 0.25/0.5/1.5/2 etc. Get what I mean? Or like leave them in percentages.

The reverse furnace is really too overpowered.
We just need a fortune pick and we'll practically have unlimited diamonds.

Given the current state, I'll have to say no.
im not done refining the post. i had to go last night so i didnt get to finish it. the crafting recipies will make it less op and i just needto fix up a few things. the reverse furnace was ment to be just for ingots, cause after i went to bed, i realized that.

    The Furnaces!

The furnaces we have now just wont do. They are slow and require a large amount of coal/fule.
I suggest the concept of new, different furnaces that are better than the regular but not too op.
Before i start, lets just assume the default (cobble furnace) has a smelting speed of 1.
    The Types:

    Regular furnace:

Before i get started with the new types, i want to state that the regular furnace will be renamed to the "cobble furnace."

    pic will come soon.

Smelting speed: 11 seconds per object
Input: 1 (the amount of spaces it has for input)
output: 1 (the amount of spaces it has for output)
    Special abilities:
    -none

    Iron Furnace:

This furnace is one step up from the cobble furnace.

    pic will come soon.

Smelting speed: 9 seconds per object
Input: 1 (the amount of spaces it has for input)
output: 1 (the amount of spaces it has for output)
    Special abilities:
    -none

    Gold Furnace:

This furnace is one step up from the iron furnace.

    pic will come soon.

Smelting speed: 8.5 seconds per object
Input: 1 (the amount of spaces it has for input)
output: 3 (the amount of spaces it has for output)
    Special abilities:
    -none

    Diamond Furnace:

This is one step up from the gold furnace.

    pic will come soon.

Smelting speed: 6 seconds per object
Input: 1 (the amount of spaces it has for input)
output: 3 (the amount of spaces it has for output)
    Special abilities:
    -none

    Obsidian Furnace:

This is one step up from the diamond furnace.

    pic will come soon.

Smelting speed: 4 seconds per object
Input: 1 (the amount of spaces it has for input)
output: 3 (the amount of spaces it has for output)
    Special abilities:
    -none

    Crafty Furnace:

    this is its own furnace.

    pic will come soon.

Smelting speed: 10.8 seconds per object
    Input: 1
    Output: 1
    Special abilities:
    -Gives you a furnace and crafting gui plus a 4 x 2 x 4 holding space.

    Industrial Furnace:

This is a furnace one step up from the cobble furnace.

    pic will come soon.

Smelting speed: 10.8 seconds per object
Input: 5 (the amount of spaces it has for input)
output: 5 (the amount of spaces it has for output)
    Special abilities:
    -Smelts in mass quantity
-Has multiple input and output slots so you can have many things smelting at a time in stead of refilling.

    Boiler Furnace:

This furnace is one step up from the iron furnace.

    pic will come soon.

Smelting speed: 9 seconds per object
Input: 2 (the amount of spaces it has for input)
output: 1 (the amount of spaces it has for output)
    Special abilities:
-maintains heat (after there is no more input left to smelt, it will keep the same time it was once it was finished and start up again once you put something to smelt. This is so you dont waste any coal)
-one input is for water and the other is for fule

    Compresser Furnace:

    This is its own furnace.

    coming soon.

    pic will come soon.

    Smelting speed: 22 seconds
    Input: 1
    Output: 1
    Special abilities:
-half of the input is smelted all at once but with a consiquence of very slow smelting.
-input has to be either 10 coal, 1 lava bucket, 2 coal blocks in order to smelt. nothing else.
-smelting a whole stack would be 20 coal

    Reverse Furnace:

    This is its own furnace.

    pic will come soon.

Smelting speed: 9 seconds per object
    Input: 3
    output: 1
    Special abilities:
-first input slot is for ingots, second for stone, third for fule
-turns any smelted form of an object back to its original form.
-brick to clay, iron ingot to iron ore, gold to gold ore, harden clay to clayblock.

give feedback and ideas for furnaces

The problem with ' class='bbc'>ZanderboyCherry's last post is that it's more inline with suggestion presentations instead of proper criticism. I don't like muddying the waters and usually ask that anything specific toward making suggestions go toward Theriasis's thread. Hope you don't mind.

Here's an unspoken rule about redundancy.

If the topic in question is much more verbose and well-articulated than any previous topic of the same type, it's the "original" even if it was the latest one. Quality over quantity; quality over age. Should the topic ever be locked, it can be argued that it should be considered the "original" or "best" toward the moderators to have the other topics locked and point to it instead.
