In case you need any background info to better filter out people, I am 19, have a **** ton of free time to do useless things and have played minecraft since the before original Halloween update. Haven't played that much recently because I haven't had a cause to play.

posted a message on [ROLEPLAY] Crafting Dead Actors Needed! Apply below! (300,000 Subscribers)

Hi there! I am interested in applying for a speaking role whatever that may be.

I am 19, and an aspiring voice actor and can do a lot of different voices. I have a blue yeti microphone and a custom computer that can record in 60+ fps. Here is the application video:

A few notes about the video. This was the first take and fully improvised. I have a mechanical keyboard which can be heard (and can be switched with my quiet keyboard) in the video and my mic peaks a few times with the audio which can easily be fixed by me not being an idiot and shoving my face in the mic.

It seems awfully unbalanced with the rewards system. If a team pick to be on peaceful, they lose the ability to gain mob drops. yet if they go on creative, they can enchant anything to level 30. They could put down chests and stockpile massive amounts of enchanted gear and diamond blocks.

-_- You can't make minecraft videos with the intent of making money. You have to make videos with the intent to have fun and entertain. Money should be an after thought when making videos. Anyway, Youtube monitization works based on how many views/likes your videos get so if you create good entertaining videos, then you may be able to see some money but as I said before DO NOT make videos for money.

posted a message on Settings for my hauppauge and sony vegas (Need advice)
So to get you Xbox to be 1080p, make sure that the monitor or tv that you use can go up to 1080p. next make sure that you are using two HDMI chords to connect you xbox to HDPVR and your HDPVR to the monitor. Then if you go to the Xbox settings and go to the video/tv settings (I forgot which one) and there should be a setting for video quality.

As far as what settings you should use for the Hauppauge, it should be just about right when you first start recording with it. You may need to change some of the color and brightness settings to what you like but it isn't necessary.

I am still fairly new to Sony Vegas myself... but pretty much you could use the software that came with the Hauppauge and that would be much easier to start off with.

With rendering, it's all up to what you want. not exactly sure why you are asking about rendering.

    Hope this helps.

Don't hate on the sky army. Sure I dislike them, but we most focus on the true enemy. The squid haters themselves. We must teach them the truth about squids.

Well done Cat Man. That audio recording is great.

Also that evil squid you see in Skys videos. If you look at it its trying to swim away! Its not evil! Its a captive.

    This is awesome!
Your narrating skills are superior to any of mine, and I most definitely would like to work with you on any project I can.
I will correct some of the spelling errors and add more detail to the OP, as well as include your beautiful work of art that is a sound file composed of bits of stored energy in a server somewhere out in the 'cloud' in my post.

I had no idea anyone so talented in the ways of the voice would read my tiny literature-ish thing, and, god, would I love to hear your voice shatter my cranium with the inspeakable(but not inwritable) opacity of bass and great music.

... I think I would like you to narrate my life xD

Thank you for your kind, well written compliments. As I said before I just got bored. I'd be glad to do another reading for you. Just send me a pm of a story that you typed and I will record it and edit it if I have any free time. Also, if you know anyone else that would want me to do something please tell them about me. I am trying to get myself out there. ;)

posted a message on The Minecraft audience
You need to find your target audience before you consider what you should do to entertain them. If you are aiming for the 9 - 12 demographic (SkyDoesMinecraft) Then you want to make fart joke stupid videos that appeal to people in that range. If you are going for 13 - 19 (CaptainSparklez, SethBling) You should try to be more serious and talk about more mature material and current topics. And in the rare case that your demographic is older than that: 20 - ???. You better be giving tutorials about how to play games because that demographic in a community like this is minuscule to none.

So before you base your style of video making based on what audience you want, you should consider basing your style on what demographic you currently have existing.

    Name: Ryan

    Age: 17

    Location: US (Oregon)

Tell me about yourself: I am a senior in high school that is aspiring to become a voice actor. I like long walks on beaches and hate long walks with es.

Do you have a mic: Yes I do (I got dat studio quality up in here)

Can you record: I can record mic audio on PC and I can also record console in HD if need be

Do you have a YouTube channel? If so, what's your name?: http://www.youtube.com/user/thetruecatman

Ideas for the channel: Have fun and make people laugh. You can't make entertaining videos if you aren't entertaining yourself.

Are you good with artwork: One time I drew a picture of a doggy in grade school.

How funny do you think you are: ... Is mayonnaise a number? ~Patrick Star. Ok, that was pathetic but I'll give myself a solid 8... Maybe 7 for that Sponge Bob reference.

Why should I pick you: Because I love you. I have a lot of free time and could contribute a lot to what you want accomplished. I can be very funny in most situations and can do quite a few impressions to spice up your channel.
