    that would be incorrect as if it were locked ONLY eloraam can request it to be unlocked.

    I do have to agree with the Direwolf20 videos showcasing the mod in action and the fan base is just sitting, watching, and each video brings a bit more frustration. Yes, I really want to have RP2 back in my collection, yes it is annoying trying to build circuits, but is it the end of the world? No. It just means I have to wait for the awesome, but I am not letting it stop my game, I am just working around it until the mod releases (which I hope she does). My initial thoughts of her yanking down her blog as a sign of quitting was true then.

    It is really sad how y'all have killed her fun in making this mod. I am very surprised that SirSengir's rant wasn't longer and more detailed. It was well spoken and probably what the silent majority has been thinking all along, it just took another highly regarded mod developer to say it.

    My only thoughts at this point is that if y'all want this mod to come back and you truly love the work that eloraam has put into this mod (which if I am not mistaken is largely, if not all her own work), then I would suggest that the apologies start coming and stop whimpering about the mod not being released. My other thought is next time (if there is one) that eloraam does not allow the mod to placed in Dire's server videos. She has always been so secretive and she should stay that way.

    My humblest apologies Eloraam, I have always loved your mod since the beginning when it was just logics and wires.

    This has always been typical to Eloraam and her update process. I agree this thread needs to be locked until elo is ready to post the updates. It is just filling with hate and discontent. If I were her and I was about to post the updates on the forums. I would stop and yank everything b/c it isn't worth it to her to go through this. I would also like to see the mods suspending and banning people who commit attacks towards a forum member (isn't that against the rules of the forum?). Having a mod come on and threaten isn't enough when you have people from BTW thread dropping links and saying they are from elo, but instead are links to the BTW thread. Grow up, wait, and for the love of all quit crying.

    Mojang lies, the modding api is a myth... it was supposed to be 1.1, then 1.2, then 1.3, and now 1.4.. next is 1.5

    My hopes is that world is compatible with MystCraft and we can finally generate sky and cave worlds without having to remove that part of elo's mod or crashing.

    TBH I think she speaks with her circle of friends and if anything interesting crops up on the forums they tell her about it. Honestly it is good to hear a tweet from her as she is still alive. I have RP2b5 on a MultiMC instance with all my other mods, I also have a 1.3.2 Instance with the mods that are finished, so I am not worried, also I have MechWarrior Online access and college classes to keep me entertained/busy.

    Someone needs to give her a beer when she is finished with the update of RP2, she deserves it lol.

    Problem with just waiting until 1.4 to release is that there would be further changes and would take even longer to push out a update. I have the upmost confidence that eloraam will be releasing a update soon(tm) and I am looking forward to its release.

    If you go look at the tutorials for 1.2.5 forge releases and try to build a mod in 1.3.2 forge releases you will instantly get errors as the methods have changed. In addition to the forge changes you must remember that mojang changed a considerable amount of code in 1.3.x and that has slowed everyone down (I know he who shall not be named has already released 5 updates to his mod). As of right now 3 of the big 6 have updated:
    IC^2
    BC3
    Forestry

    2 of the 6 have elected to completely rebuild their mods and are not likely to have anything finished by the release of 1.4:
    EE
    ThaumCraft

    Then you have elo who is still devoting as much of her free time as possible to this mod, despite having a new (more demanding) job.

    lol @ the term real mod. WTH is that anyways? First off I grew up on RP and I had to re-learn wiring with this mod. I didn't throw it away and give up. I stuck with it and continue to do so, in fact it has enhanced how I do things on my Forge instance of Minecraft. Second, and I agree with FC in the fact that forge is becoming this massive monster of mods, jeebus I have 86 mods installed on my forge instance and I can't even use texture packs anymore as it lags down the game. I try to clean it up and find myself saying "oh, can't live without that mod".

    The fact that almost everything is incompatible with BTW is nice, it forces me to think about my actions in the world and build functional designs. I still like the forge mods and play it as much as I do the BTW, but to try and place forge in this special zone that is "above all" is plain ignorant. If it is the most amazing API out there, then why did Mojang adopt Bukkit's API???

    I see this fight here and over on minecraftforge.net as well. Y'all are at each other's throats, and it is pathetic... forge players tend to be worse about it than the BTW crowd (when 1.3 dropped one the major forge mods was calling it the death of BTW and FC). I mean really? So I ask this, forge is just now releasing it's 4.0.x stable recommended build and 0 of the dependent mods are updated (which a few devs have already admitted it will take a month or more to sort through all the changes to the game and API code) and BTW is already released (twice) for 1.3.2.

    I may not know enough java to even make a single block, but I do know how massive the decompiled nightmare of Minecraft is and my hat is off for every mod developer out there working through this latest release and having to endure the chaotic nightmare of people in the forums.

    First off I gotta say this is a great mod on SSP. I am using the 0.5.3 version and loving it. Here is the problem though, Minecraft Forge. I can't deploy the .4 version on my server as it modifies the same classes as Minecraft Forge. The forge seems to be a love hate relationship with most coders, but I will say this, as a player I am stunned at how much new stuff has become available (IC^2, BC, and RedPower) and how the potentials of these mods exploded in a short time.

    I am curious if your planning to take this amazing mod and make it forge compatible and what are the odds of updating this so it can run on SMP.
