posted a message on Wires(rough idea)

Now I know what you're gonna say, "We already have Redstone, why do we need wires?", and yes we do have Redstone but wires are different. Wires carry Information.

    :Iron: =Titanium/Copper Plate

Wires need power. One of the ways to get power is generators. BUT FIRST, you need a transformer.

    :Iron: :GP: :Iron:

    :GP: = Redstone

    =Wire

    :Iron: =Iron Plate

Now you can craft your generator!

    Crafting:

    :Iron: :Flint: :Iron:

    :Iron: :Furnace: :Iron:

    :Iron: :Iron: :Iron:

    :Flint: = Transformer

Wires have no limit to how far they can be powered. Speaking of power you can have a switch to turn on/off the power!

    Crafting:

    :: :Flint: ::

    :Iron: :|: :Iron:

    :Iron: :Iron: :Iron:

    :Iron: = Aluminuim Plate

    :Flint: = Transformer

    :|: =Lever

And finally, the Monitor. The monitor reads the state of every object connected to the same line it is.

    Crafting:

    :Iron: :Flint: :Iron:

    :Iron: :Glass: :Iron:

    :Iron: :Iron: :Iron:

    :Iron: = Aluminuim Plate

    :Flint: = Transformer

Now you may be asking, "How does it carry information?". Well, there are many possibilities:

-Let's say you made a music masterpiece and want to save it as a disc(I'll explain later). You can connect all the note blocks and the recorder with Wires!

-You made a fancy weather setup outside but you want to stay inside. Connect all the components to a monitor inside!

-You have a farm and want to check how it's doing. That's right, connect all the components with Wires!

Also, wires can go through 1 block, they can go up walls and ceilings, they can go diagonally, and they can stretch between walls that are 2 blocks apart!

Wires are just a tiny fraction of all the ideas I have. If you wan't more, tell me in the comments!
