Look I'm tired of all of the squeaky clean Minecraft series. I always gravitated towards dark, edgy, mature and inappropriate content. And funny moments videos. Jchlatt, SwaggerSouls, GeneralSam the Vanoss Crew. Even some of Technoblades content.
YouTubers like that are who I take influence from. Sure that kind of content might not get as many views and or ad revenue due to YouTube's algorithm and TOS burying this kind of content. But it's about making the content I want to see. And anything has its work around. You just gotta do your research into what YouTube does and doesn't allow.
And making the necessary adjustments. While trying to maintain as much of the content you wanna deliver. Even if it means straddling that line. Anyone interested drop you Discord. And if you have any video examples of your style.
Is there a 1.18.2 mod that gates the type of loot you get from chests?. I'm working on a mod pack where I want players to work harder for everything they have. And I feel like the quality and/or amount of loot you get from chests is way too O.P. You find a single village, dungeon or mineshaft. And you walk away with everything you need. Too easy.
I had an idea for a dungeon mod that's kind of inspired by WoW's dungeon raids. It does few things...
1.) It makes a minor alteration to the bland vanilla box-like dungeons by adding a door to these dungeons. As if the vanilla dungeons are nothing more then just an entrance to the bigger dungeon itself.
2.) When the player goes into these doors it takes them to a separate dimension that has a randomly generated themed dungeon (swamp, jungle, desert, etc.) in it with puzzles, traps and a themed boss mob at the end.
3.) I picked the idea of putting these dungeons in a separate dimension because while in this dimension the player is not allowed to destroy or place blocks. This is to keep players from just cheating their way through the dungeon by mining their way around obstacles.
4.) There can also be special items that reveals secret of the dungeons. Like a rouges Spyglass that reveals hidden markings that clue you into hidden doors or hidden traps. Or even armor and weapons with randomly generate stats.
5.) Chests will be randomly secured by locks. This is inspired by Melonslise's Locks mod. Where there's a little minigame to unlock them. You could just do an integration with that mod. But I'm pretty sure the most update version of that mod is 1.16.5.
I just wanted a way to add more challenging ways to adventure in minecraft. Mojang has woefully neglected vanilla dungeons, and the end for that matter, when it comes to updates. And I feel like other modded dungeons just throw loot at players. Making it way too easy for players to get geared up. I want it to be more of a challenge.
OK I am putting together a minecraft 1.12.2 server that runs Forge mods. I'm using McHorses Blockbuster and Mappet mods to build and develop the quests on the server. But I only want the server Ops to be able to access the menus for those mods. How would I go about doing that?.
I'm looking for a recent mod that I think is for 1.16. But it made it so you had to gain a positive reputation with the villagers in order for them to like you. This mod can also let you side with the pillagers too if you so choose.
Well I know how to get mods on my server. But my server right now is running paper. Which seems to run exponentially better then forge does. So I was trying to and just use plugins. Which MobEngine and MythicMobs seems really interesting to me right now. I like how easily you can drop in a custom mob, freshly modeled, textured and animated directly onto the server. So I was looking to stay within the plugin realm. But plugins seems way too primitive compared to mods in terms of GUI and functionality.
I've got a Minecraft 1.17.1 server running on Paper. And I know absolutely nothing about plugins. From what I can tell paper can run pretty much run any plugin. Me and a friend want to make a RPG server which we plan to make custom content including mobs and quests. So we obviously plan to use MobEngine and MythicMobs. But what other plugins do you guy and girls suggest?.
Are there server plugins that add functionality like the create mod. Like elevators, the ability to make huge castle gates, drawbridges as well as functional trains and large boats?. I've started a new server. And I'm only now looking into plugins.
Can anyone help me. I'm never too sure weather I'm reading these crash reports right. Judging from all of the crash reports from the instance of the game. I thought the Backpack Baubles mod was causing the crash. But after I took that mod out I still got a crash report saying the same. Her check it out and tell me if you can make heads or tails of it.

Please keep in mind that if your mod uses datapacks. Make sure that they are properly updated to the newest version. Because a lot of the most popular mods are having datapack errors because they are not compatible with 1.16.5. The screenshot below is just a small group of mods that are effected.
This was quite a while ago. And have completely forgot about it because people didn't seem to have any interest in it. Are you a modder interested in pursuing this idea?. Cuz if so I could probably think of a few things. This idea when I came up with it was really basic. I could probably do better.
I'm looking to commission a 1.12.2 mod that's an addon for Recurrent Complex. Simply it's a block that allows you to input a specified range. And when the block is spawned inside a recurrent complex structure. It would prevent the placing and breaking of blocks within the range of the block. I've tried to just do this with command blocks. But I can't for the life of me get it to work. Commission price is negotiable.
Lately I felt like going back to minecraft 1.7.10 and make a mod pack for it. partially for nostalgia for older mods. A mainly because the ported version of a mod I want to use doesn't have all of the same features of the 1.7.10 version. But there's another mod I used to know about that I'm looking for. But can't remember what it was called. It's simply a mod that let's you play custom OGG audio files. It's mainly used to allow you to have custom voice overs for NPCs. Does anyone know this mod?.
I've been sifting through everything trying to figure out why the heck it keeps crashing when ever I try to lead up a 1.16.5 custom pack. Well any 1.16.5 modpack crashes. When it does I get "Process crashed with an exit code 1" in the Minecraft Game output window. But the launcher says "An unexpected issue occurred and the game crashed. Sorry for the inconvenience. Exit code 0" (See Pictures Below). Does anyone have any idea how to fix this?. Here's the crash log.

I'm honestly better off just installing forge on my vanilla client, installing my mods and playing like that. Cuz I can't seem to get that to work they way it shows. I just keep getting a message saying "that is not a valid directory". And I'm don't really wanna try and figure it out.
