Hmm.
Yes,the overworld should have a good bossfight.
I have no problem with a boss being too hard, complex or long.
I just don't want them to take a lot of memory, coding and stuff like that, and then reward you with just a few items.
There needs to be some balance.
A long, hard and complex boss that has taken a long time to code and takes a lot of memory needs to have a good reward.
I just think that this is too complicated and hard to code, and there could be something different.
You both know that this isn't written in stone. It can be changed, the thing is, If there was to simply add a forest dimension, that wouldn't do TOO good, as it's the overworld with a boss. Why not instead of having to get this crystal compass, you can simply craft leaves and a diamond together to make a diamond leaf which can be crafted it a portal with water, not fire, to go to a realm of these huge tress where you face the boss. I don't know, I don't make games, but in making a game, deciding and attributing stats and parameters is a nightmare. And the reason Crysaladillo is so complicated is because the bosses are mainly too simple. Sure, Wither mixes it up with wither armor, but nothing battle changing. He also spawns on the inside of the top of a huge tree, where your sort of in a battlefield. Don't hold it on me, but I don't make the game, and this is only a suggestion.
Aw, this topic is really going to break my heart. I have multiple people that I consider friends on a server. Some of them and I are now no longer able to be in contact. I think that there should be an in game friend option. If a person sends a friend request, the username they sent it to can accept. If they do, they can use the Jeb_Mail to stay in touch, and see what servers the other person is sharing for their friends and if they are on it. It really will help me keep in touch with old friends I really miss on servers, and I think many other people think like this.
I like the armor part.
I think that there should be a new special armor that can only be crafted with something from a boss mob.And I think that boss mob should be a dragon.
But this is a bit too complicated for just a overworld boss.
So this, is very, very true, but the overworld is your main base. It's where you'll have a bed and where you'll go mining. It's where you start. So why not give it the greatest foe of all? I suppose no matter what I say, he'll be too complex, but I think he's a fair boss, and the dragon boss is GOING to get over used. Jeb is planning a Red Dragon. If you were to disagree with the boss being an armadillo I have no issue, as with this, but I don't think that a boss being too complex, long or hard is an issue. So many other games have done it. Now I understand that this boss may seem too hard, but he isnt guaranteed.

If this boss was to be added into the game, one of these armor pieces MUST BE a hex code of 508. It's by far the best number.
The whitelist was removed, but you seriously should take Warlord's word for it. This is the best server I've ever been on. With my youtube channel, I'm GOING to advertise it.
It seems overcomplicated, and to many things added. No support.
Both are a good point. All it really is is three forms of a mob, another 5 items, a boss, and a new boss with three phases so happening to be very complicated. I'm sorry about the complexity.
Ah, bosses. A new little clip to my favorite game. Thanks to the Wither Miniboss, that leaves only the overworld as a dimension without a boss set for it. Eh, why not. So in jungle and forest biomes, new passive mobs called Bladadillos will spawn. Rather small, but very fast and hard to catch. Similar to ocelots, yet very different. If one was to be fed meat it would have a 5% chance to give you a crystal compass. This crystal compass always points to the nearest crystal tree. This crystal tree spawns about once every 10000 square meters. So it can be a trek getting to one, and it always spawns in a jungle or forest.
The crystal tree is made of a white-tinted wood called crystal wood. This block and its matching crystal leaves are unbreakable as to avoid someone from cheating through the crystal tree. As the player passes through the multi-floor tree, each floor is rigged with invisable, passeable blocks that spawn larger, discolored Bladadillos, in shades of red and yellow. The way this works is an invisible pressure plate typed block sends a current of invisible wire to spawners disguised as wood that spawn these Bladadillos when spawned. This also triggers the doors to the previous floor and the next to shut until each mob is killed. On the final floor, a crystal will be hovering within the dome of crystal leaves. When the player punches it, it slowly shapes into the overworld boss, the Crystadillo, name being a literal word for crystal armadillo.
The boss has three phases. In the first phase, he bounces around the room, and a few blocks of leaves will be slightly discolored. In order to harm the boss the player must get him to hit the discolored "spiked crystal leaves." After about a fifth of damage taken, he opens up from his curly sphere and starts charging into the nearest player. He can take damage from spikes, but that is impractical. The goal is to circle around him and hit his tail. When his tail is hit three times, he will jump to face the person that last struck him, sending out a shockwave. During this phase he can send of the medium difficulty yellow Bladadillos. After he has a final third of health left, he enters his final phase, where the damage do his tail sends a crack down his shell, sending a split in his long-horned helmet. During this phase he shoots fireballs to be deflected at his head to stun him. While he's stunned he cannot move, making striking his current weak point, his head, easier to hit. After this final phase, he finally crumbles and drops a random piece of Shell Armor. Which adds lava and fire resistance and has protection as high as diamond.I forgot to mention, this boss is repeatable, but it requires the chunk despawning, and going through the whole process again. That way someone can get back gear they lost or complete the set.
So let's say, that as of 12w38a, bats are merely aesthetic mobs. Perhaps they can be used for brewing? A few more brewing ingredients should be added, such as bat wing, and soul dust(dropped by soulwalkers, a should-be hostile nether mob). So let's say we suddenly have an awkward potion. If a bat wing was added to that it would become a potion of nausea, an unimplemented effect. Now let's take this nausea potion, and put a gold carrot into it. Sheer irony. Blindness potion. Now if we put this soul dust, and we put it on a potio I think there should be a potion of water breath, though I am not sure how to implement it quite yet.n of posion, that should make a potion of wither, as a wither is made from soul sand and wither skulls. I think there should also be a potion of water breath, but I'm not sure what to do to implement it.
