    I have this issue which I researched for answers on and failed to come up with an effective solution. The title explains a lot of what I am trying to do, but to reiterate, I am trying to set the name of the block, item, or any object in Forge via the code within the main.class rather than having to set the name of the block or object via en_US.lang file. I have looked for solutions to this but only thing I can think of is making an arrayList and adding the names to it and using a for loop to write it to the en_US.lang via a buffered reader and writer but I wish to avoid this approach if there is an already built in method in Forge to set the display name. Does anyone know of a method that is already built in that allows the setting of a block's or object's display name? Thank you for your time.

    I am TheRedHun1; the proud owner of PlayMyMc.net. As you can see, the title says a lot about what this thread is about but I will try to be concise and to the point with a bit more detail of what I am looking for and what I need.

    The Programming Team - What is it?
    The programming Team is a group of plugin makers who can help cater to the needs of the server by producing quality plugins for PlayMyMc.net's use. I expect to roll out multiple ideas I have but I cannot code fast enough as I am only one person. The team will consist of 3 Senior Programmers who are very experienced in coding and maybe up to 6 Junior Programmers who have a handle on Bukkit coding who will work under the Senior Coders.

    What is the reward?
    The reward at the moment will not be money. I am hoster who does not accept any money for myself from the server or to pay anyone else. I believe all money must be either put back into the server or given back to the player if I obtain too much money. I will how ever provide each programmer with a special Programming rank equivalent to the highest donation rank with some special perks only available to that rank that comply with EULA.

    What is PlayMyMc.net and why should we join you?
    Some of you may be wondering what my server is and why it so special compared to other servers. Well, my server I try to keep versatile and unique. It has been up for a few months with little advertising as of right now yet I still accumulate players. I am not a new server owner and as a matter of fact I have had a few years of experience. I am a college student going into Computer Science and Mathematics. I know my way around the server and how to code. I have worked very hard on this server and I plan to continue moving forward and I feel like this is the next step. I own a very large server so this isn't a small server. I am upgrading the server again to be able to host at least 2 more minecraft servers, one specifically for creative and another is a custom mod pack but most of it will be allocated to Bukkit.

    What are we coding?
    You will be coding various ideas that I have planned and even some your own ideas and the player's ideas. It can range from anything that is utility to mechanical to just fun stuff. There are some larger projects and small projects. So to really answer this question, pretty much anything.

    What are the requirements to join?
    The requirements to join are simple. Skype is a must and you of course must know Bukkit and Java and be good at it to be a senior programmer. I require some sort of plugin and source code that can demonstrate your skills and you must be familiar with GitHub. You also should be able to spend a lot of time towards this. If you do not have time for this, please do not even ask.

    I like this idea and I agree I don't like the complexity added to forestry for bees. It would be a great mod if you could care for just bees in a simple manner.

    What I mean by this is a rough sketch as in a few predone textures, a drawn picture, a description of the mod more thoroughly.

    Could you provide like a rough sketch of a few items that you are doing and what the theme is? Also what is bugging me is this:

    I am not a fan of quests in minecraft because your trying to restrict mineraft to follow these quest lines which defeats the whole purpose of minecraft being an open sandbox.

    Use eclipse or some sort of IDE because it will save you a ton of time and is extremely helpful; I can't watch the video at the moment but my guess is your missing an import or you do not have the class files it is looking for.

    Because the first time you downloaded the files you needed, and by the way it says updates need to be downloaded. Please be more aware of what your CMDs actually do...

    You keep missing what I tell you. In the black CMD screen that pops up, it downloads extra libraries and source for you to work with, during this process it is possible for the source to be corrupted during download if your internet is not stable or too slow or any other unforeseen reason. Only way I can say to fix this is to re-download your mcp or forge into an entirely new folder, and re-install it so it can attempt to re-download the files correctly.
