That's very odd. I took the End Dragon down last night with no issue, crystals were destroyed with arrows and pickaxes, no problem.

I am experiencing the "pause doesn't pause" problem we had a few years back. Makes bathroom breaks a problem.

I still have cobblestone and mossy stone fences and they are in the fence menu for me. I'm working off the most recent update.

I'll check, but I had it just before this most recent update.

That's a woodland mansion and it's very exciting to find one as they tend to be rare in my experience. Like Flame said, switch that baby over to normal mode and check it out!

I'm 100% convinced that villager AI is and has been broken. In multiple seeds my villagers RARELY seek a door when night comes. They just mill about outside the houses waiting for zombies to come get them. The village center seems to be WAY off as villagers tend to congregate well outside the village nowhere near houses or valid doors. This causes the village center to shift well beyond what should be the triangulated center of the valid doors. I end up with a cluster of villagers up against the fence in the corner of my village far from houses and doors.

This makes village building very difficult. I lost 3 villagers today because a block got placed next to a fence (had to be an Enderman) and before I knew it and could fix it, they ran out into the world never to be seen again.

posted a message on Can someone please explain this new biome selector?

As I understand it the biome slider determines how many and the size of the biomes that are generated on a seed. Thus on the LARGE setting you can get a seed that is all desert, or just savannah and jungle, while on the SMALL setting you might get 3 deserts, two oceans, a jungle and a extreme hills, or more. I have no idea what effect it would have on existing seeds, but it will likely shift the existing biomes to meet the slider criteria. Hence it may no longer snow in your Snow biome because it shifted to be desert.

Did it write new terrain over your existing map? I can see the structures disappearing if the seeds shifted to meet the new criteria (i.e. no with hut because that swamp isn't a swamp any more, it's now plains).

I think the slider was intended for use during seed generation, so effects on existing seeds may vary, wildly.

The compass now points to 0,Y,0 instead of to the spawn point. Is that supposed to be?

Also, no torches around the bonus chest.

Magma cube drop rate for magma cream seems to be lowered dramatically.

I'm just too poor to afford a new system and have been enjoying Minecraft on this platform for a long time, not eager to start over on a new system. But I guess, times they be a changin'

Is the 360 just a multiplayer online platform now? Should we expect any further substantial game play updates or just updates for the multiplayer game? PE just got llamas and woodland mansions and illagers and lots of other great game play stuff. The last we've gotten was in November and while it was a huge update, we've seen tons of support for the multiplayer since and practically nothing for the main game.

Anybody know if the 360's days are finally over?

I am getting ridiculous lag in an older save. I don't have any lag in my current TU save, but this one is from at least 3 updates ago, and all of the mobs are moving incredibly slowly. They move like the video game people in Wreck it Ralph, only slower. It only seems to affect mobs and mine carts. Horses are fine, boats are fine and anything I do is fine with the exception of eating or drinking. Those take forever too. Also, day/night are extremely long because the sky keeps jumping backwards. I can run up alongside a rabbit and it will take several seconds for it to complete a jump to flee from me.

It's not necessarily wrecking the world, but it is annoying.

posted a message on Houses, is it possible for them to be too close.

I'm having a lot of trouble with villagers getting in doors. Many times they will stand outside a door, open or closed, as if they have no idea how to go inside. This has led to a lot of zombified villagers at night. Villager behavior has been screwy for me since the last major TU

I'm still getting the extra bonus chest at or near 0,x,0 on new seeds.

Also, not sure if this is a lag issue or not, but my horse is slow as molasses, but his head animation makes it look like he's running at a rapid speed, so the result is what appears to be my little horse working his butt off to go extra slow...

Has the difficulty increased? I'm getting slaughtered by skeletons (is this due to their bizarre strafing behavior) and even in full iron armor a single creeper blast takes me out. Or is this buggy too?

Also, villager AI seems more broken than ever. I lost 80% of a village because they simply refuse to go indoors at night. They will stand in front of doors, but not go in and they will run around within their wandering distance, but when night falls, they just stand around like they have no idea what's going on. Could this be related somehow to all of the lighting issues going on? (I had full daylight at about level 20 in a cave, despite being no where near open sky).
