    I was getting this in .002 with vanilla biomes so it isn't new. With biome altering mods such as Biomes O'Plenty pretty much every tower I found was either in a cut out square hole in the ground or up on a base it generated like in yours. Biome generation mods also wreck havoc on village spawns to so I'd expect those mods to cause the problems however.

    Yeah, as stated here you just need to change IDs that conflict in one one of the mods. There are a couple mods that have overlapping IDs with AM

    It appears Ars Magica doesn't like Biome's O'Plenty either but I suppose that is to be expected since it messes with the land generation. The buildings I have been able to find before the the Memory Connection Overburden starts are either in a deep hole cut into a perfect square in the ground or raised up a couple blocks on their own level platform.

    Anyone know why I get Memory Connection Overburden while using Ars Magica? I've tried everything I can think of but am unable to resolve it. It usually starts about 10 mins into any game, any world I create. Remove Ars and it goes away.

    I have about 40 mods total, basically FC/DW mods. Decided to load as many mods as possible (over 100 minus Ars) and it doesn't happen to see if my pc was just taking a crap. Lower it down to 20 mods and Ars it still happens.

    Edit: This is with 1.5.2 with latest Forge (703)

    There are plenty of mods out there that it isn't that simple for unfortunately. Most should be, but that's obviously not the case for everyone as not everyone has gotten around to adopting it yet.

    i DONT think its supposed to replace an iron shovel, or even exist when its ID is set to 0... xD

    EDIT: ....ok, now THATS just redicoulus.. apparently, the archmage boots can be combined with a masters spell staff... that makes ALMOST as much sence as hitting the cactis too hard and then blowing up swiming in lava xD


    Pretty much guaranteeing yourself some ridiculous behavior with your method of banning item.

    Just downloaded the this snapshot, first time in quite a while....please tell me it's a bug with the sound, I don't get any sound while chopping trees down, breaking chests, ect except at the very end and you get the breaking sound.

    Wow, I've only read a few pages of this thread and it's kinda ridiculous with all the complaining and I am so tired of the Forgecraft cool kids get the cool toys bs arguments. Forgecraft goes down constantly, it's said over and over again. Xycraft isn't ready for the prime time no matter how much we want it.

    As a follow up, it is actually going into the chest after it fills up with stacks of two. I'm not sure what caused it not to earlier must have been me messing around trying to figure out what was going on. However, it cycles in stacks stacks of two. 2 will go to the first slot, 2 to the second, ect to the last slot in the chest than start over adding 2 to each slot.

    EDIT (again): Ok, I tracked down the issue. I did infact have 2.2.2.1 but had the previous version of Core. I just redownloaded and updated TE with the latest versions of both and all is good.

    Since updating to 2.2.2.1 I have noticed that when I puliverize than use the powered furnace it outputs every 2 dusts smelted into ingots into a new slot in the adjacent inventory instead of stacking to stacks of 64 before going to the next valid inventory slot. Once it fills every slot in the chest with stacks of 2 it won't output to the chest anymore and backs up in the machine.

    Redpower 2 and Facorization both try to claim the same 9000 range block ID's. Just get the FTB configs or change Factorization ID's to something else. I assigned mine to 6000-6045. You will probably have to change the 4089-91 or whatever the 3 id's are in the 4000 range.

    Apparently you need to change some item ID's as well. I was wondering why I was getting cresent wrenches in chests....it overlaps in item ID's, not only block ID's in Thermal Expansion as well.

    I don't know how I managed to miss this mod until the Direwolf20 spotlight but I am glad I found it now. This and TC3 are great compliments of each other. Definitely fun on it's own but mixed in with the rest of the mods of the DW20 mod pack makes for some interesting possibilities. I have only touched half of what this mod has to offer thus far and I am a huge fan.

    Change Factorization ids (I used 6000 to 6045), I also changed all the Ars Magica ID's...I think I just changed them by adding a 4 to the front so it was in the 4000 range of IDs. If your RP2 id's changed you will need to delete your RP2 config. That typically only happens if you used Auto-Assign which is broken in RP2 and you will end up with almost all your ID's assigned to the same number.

    Doubt we see that, only reason she would do that is if mods didn't update timely and we have a lot of mods out now. IC2 is done but not out, BC is out, TE is done but not out until King gets online, and a lot of support mods are out. Just missing a couple big ones such as TC3 and Railcraft but everytime I look more and more are out.

    How many hours of Minecraft do you play a week and how often do you record?
