    Quote from Davve

It's written in GML (Game Maker Language), which is used only in Game Maker as you might have guessed from the name. In order for me to make this mac compatible I must...

    1. Purchase a mac for $59693965896853968394583924349284
    2. Purchase Game Maker for Mac for $39.99
    3. Rewrite the entire application to make it mac compatible.
    4. Find equivalents to the extensions I am currently using, which is impossible.

So yeah... It won't happen. But that doesn't mean somebody else can create another note block editor that works for mac (which haven't happened as of yet.)

What you said is ********. Macs can cost as low as $1000, which may seem a bout expensive, but its not.

posted a message on 1.2 have to download and install or it updates itself?
You're Minecraft will automatically give you the "Would you like to update?" window when 1.2 is released. But until then, you must manually download and install the snapshots.

The thing is, the mobs were fresh from a moment ago, they had spawned when I went to sleep (or while I was asleep for that 5 seconds or so). And the another thing is, I've been playing that world for 5 minutes.

If you sleep through the night, it makes the game go into fast forward. It doesn't just skip the night, so all mobs that spawned before you went to bed will most likely despawn when you wake up.

posted a message on [1.1] Styx Mod [Requires Modloader]
    Hello Everyone!

Today I am bring you guys the Styx Mod. This mod adds tools made out of Styx Rods, which are made by combining sticks with Gold Nuggets. The tools have higher durability than iron, so they are very useful. The mod currently adds in a Styx Sword, Styx Pickaxe, Styx Paxel, Styx Axe, Styx Shovel, Styx Hoe, and or course the Styx Rods. You can check out my other mods here. This mod does require Risugami's Modloader, and you can get it here. If you discover any bugs, conflicts, or errors with the mod, either leave a reply in this post or contact me on my Youtube Channel, linked here. All other information is bellow.

Download the latest version of the Styx Mod here.

Installation Instructions (Mac OS X Lion {Mac OS 10.7}):

    [1] Click the Go tab
    [2] Select "Go to Folder"
[3] type in ~/Library and hit Go
[4] Go to the Application Support folder, then minecraft folder, and then the bin folder.
[5] Right click on the minecraft.jar, and open it with any archiver application (I would suggest you use The Unarchiver here).
[6] Then download the mod, unzip the file (for Lion it usually unzips automatically after you download it) and move the files into the folder that was created from the minecraft.jar.
[7] Then download and install Modloader (you can get it here)
[8] Click "Replace all" when you move the files from the Styx_Mod_ver_1.1 folder, and past them into the new folder.
[9] Then Rename that folder to minecraft.jar, and delete the actual .jar file called minecraft.jar.
    [10] Finally, run the game.

    Installation Instructions (Windows 7):

    [1] Click the Start tab
    [2] Search "%appdata%"
[3] Open .minecraft folder then the bin folder
[4] Right click on the minecraft.jar and open it with WinRaR or 7zip
[5] Then download and install Modloader you can get it here)
[6] Then download the mod, and drag all of it's content into the minecraft.jar that you've opened using WinRaR or 7zip.
    [7] Finally, run the game.

    To do's:

    • Add a Styx Paxel.

posted a message on minecraft is the crappiest game ever made
    Quote from FusionXTC

This is coming form the guy who took time to make a forum account, add pictures plus comment about various topics dealing with minecraft, and someone who has a minecraft account no doubt. You sir, are the pathetic person.

Either that, or someone hacked/took over his account.

EDIT: just noticed it is in the Minecraft Survival Section.

posted a message on new server soon
    Quote from hqt99

With 1G or ram you will not be able to run any plugins. A vanilla server with nothing on it recommends that for about 5 people. Go here for a basic idea http://canihostaminecraftserver.com/.

Not necessarily. I run a server on 1GB of RAM, it has 12 plugins, and it runs fine. But I suggest that you only run about 10 people on a server running on 1GB of RAM. 20 on 1GB will either cause it to lag way to much, crash it regularly, or it will hurt your computer.
