Quick question, why is it that dozens of extremely popular and amazing mods (such as Thaumcraft, Single Player Commands, Equivalent Exchange, ExtraBiomesXL, etc...) which get MILLIONS of views and downloads and thousands of comments, and not ONCE do they tout and brag that they're "famous" or popular. It's by their content and awesomeness that they're known. Then, I stumble across your meager and unoriginal mod that has been done TONS of times before, and you brag that it's famous because you got a few hundred downloads and that your obsidian tools mod is "what has made you who you are today"? You forget to mention that your "obsidian tools mod that have made you famous" was done dozens of times by more original and successful projects, and I think you need to step back and realize how arrogant and insecure you sound when you make claims of fame like that. You're not famous, and your mods aren't either. There's nothing wrong with THAT fact, but there is something wrong with you being childish and acting like you're hot stuff. The_K is right, very conceited indeed.

…I dunno…I just felt like putting that in the title.

this is awesome but the mods have some .class files with the same name so the conflict with each other. if you could fix this it would be so much better! :)

They don't conflict with each other. The Class file that they share is the exact same for every single one of the mods. So it doesn't really matter. Trust me. I tested it.

The server is based off of the Hunger Games. With a 1000x1000 block arena, it has everything a Hunger Games server should have. The server can hold up to 20 people, but the games will only start if 4 people are online. There are hidden chests with precious items throughout the map, as well as multiple traps! Just come onto the server, type /ha join, and wait for the games to BEGIN!

September 6th, 2012: All 4 mods have been updated. Screenshots for all the mods (including screenshots of the crafting recipes) will be up by the 10th. Multiplayer versions will be up by then as well, I hope. Inform me of any bugs or errors.

For the past while I have been dormant, as I have been running my Minecraft server. But now I'm back, and I'm better than ever. I've updated my most popular mods, and have re-released them on this thread. Scroll down to find all of my mods, including my Obsidian Tools mod, my Sandstone Tools mod, my Ice Tools mod, and my Weapons+ Mod (formally my Iron Tools Plus mod and my Diamond Paxel mod). And the Mods will have both screenshots and videos, although nit her are up currently.

    TMDR's Ice Tools
This was my first Modloader-dependant mod. It was my brain-child, but sadly, it didn't become popular at all (probably because I wasn't known as a modder back then). The installation instructions are bellow, as is the video (the proof that its an actual mod) and the download links (their always kept up-to-date, while the ones at the top of the post might not always be current.

    Mod info:
This mod adds Ice Tools. The tools are an Ice Sword, Ice Pickaxe, Ice Axe, Ice Shovel, and Ice Hoe. Sadly, there's no Ice Paxel at the moment, but there may be on in the fi

    Installation Instructions:
    • Find you .minecraft folder (For PC, go to the Start menu, then search for %appdata%; for Mac, go to Finder>Go>~Library, then go into Application Support).
    • Open up the minecraft.jar (located in the bin folder of the .minecraft folder) with an archiving program (for PC, use either 7zip or WinRAR; For Mac, use either Archive Utility (only usable for Mac OS 10.6 and earlier, and comes free with every Mac) or The Unarchiver (For use in Mac OS X 10.7 or later).
    • Install Modloader into the minecraft.jar.
    • Install ModloaderMP into the minecraft.jar
    • Install TMDR's Mod into the minecraft.jar
    • Play
Download the latest version of TMDR's Ice Tools Mod Here.

Video's were outdated, so I'm making new ones. They should be up in about 2 weeks time. For now though, I'll put up the screenshots.

    TMDR's Obsidian Tools
This is my most popular mod of all time. With thousands of downloads, this is what made me who I am now. This is also my second favourite mod (after my Sandstone Tools Mod) and is also my most successful. There will be lots of addition sin the future, so keep an eye on this mod.

    Mod Info:
This mod adds in Obsidian Tools. The Obsidian Tools have a durability that is higher than diamond, and the weapons deal the same damage as diamond ones. The Hoe texture was fixed in version 1.9 (for MC 1.3.2). I'm hoping to fix the not-being-able-to-mine-obsidian-with-Obsidian-Tools bug soon, but I can't figure out what is causing it.

    Installation Instructions:
    • Find you .minecraft folder (For PC, go to the Start menu, then search for %appdata%; for Mac, go to Finder>Go>~Library, then go into Application Support).

    TMDR's Sandstone Tools
This is my favourite mod. It adds weapons that are so easy to craft, there's no need for wooden/stone tools! So convenient! Anyways, I hope you guys like this mod, as its one of my most original yet!

    Mod Info:
This adds a full set of Sandstone Tools, including a Sandstone Paxel (crafted from a Sandstone Pickaxe, Axe, and Shovel). You can craft the tools out of any type of Sandstone, not just the default type. Also, the tools can mine both Diamond and Gold, which is a bug and was not intentional.

    TMDR's Weapons+
This is a combination of 2 of my old mods that I've combined and added to to make better. This mod doesn't add any new sets of tools, it just adds onto the existing ones.

    Mod Info:
This mod adds a few new Iron tools, mainly ones useful for combat. It adds an Iron Mace, a Machette and a Bloody Machette (their the exact same weapon, just different textures), and an Iron Paxel. I also added a Diamond Paxel into this mod as well. Currently no bugs in this that I know of, but please leave a reply if you find one. I'll try to fix any bugs ASAP.

Its ****, Looses my waypoints whenever I leave in multiplayer, I am now stuck in a cave with no way out!

Your fault, not Rei's. You need to make sure that you SAVE your waypoints before exiting out of a server. If you don't save them, you won't keep them. Same thing goes if you delete your mods/config folder from your .minecraft folder.

Big words for hollow claims, son. Do you have any proof of this vague wrong-doing? Is it because you're getting blue-balls over the lack of an official API?

If Jeb really were just another profit puppeteer, he would do everything in his power to release an API for the sake of Minecraft's longevity. It's what Bethesda, another 'big greedy developer' has successfully done for their Elder Scrolls series. Oblivion 8 years later is still being modified by the community that bought it.

Also, surely you heard about smooth lighting initially being a mod that was integrated into the official source. Or that Jeb actually offered the makers of Optifine 10 grand for their code. Or the fact he is working with Robinton to concoct a solid version of a 4096 block ID system. Do you sense treachery in these actions too?

You've forgotten potions, and pistons. Notch/Jeb got the idea's from mods that people made.

    Quote from Ricowan

Not quite. The minimap replaces one of the original Minecraft classes if you put it directly into the minecraft jar. If you put the minimap in the mods folder for Modloader, it uses the Modloader hooks for that class instead of replacing the original class. That's how Modloader helps make mods compatible, the original classes are replaced by modloader instead of by each mod that needs to modify those classes.

Thats what MCPatcher does. Your getting for facts mixed up.

Rei's doesn't need the ais.class if you are using modloader (which I believe is required for forge anyway) - just put the mod (the zip file you download, not the extracted folder) in your mods folder rather than in the .jar and it should work fine. Or insall Rei's before Forge and it should work.

The ais.class is only necessary when not using modloader.

Uh…..all putting the .zip file into the mods folder does is wirelessly adds the files to the minecraft.jar. Its pretty much Modloaders built-in MCPatcher, just without the HD Texture, HD Fonts, Custom Colors, and Random Mobs support.
