You will only be able to log in to the forum after October 23rd with a Twitch account, therefore, if you do not have a Twitch account you will need to create one. The process is very quick, it can all be done through the merge page, you don't need to visit any other website. Even if you do not intend to use your Twitch account for anything else you will need to create one, although, there are lots of great reasons to have a Twitch account so I am sure you will eventually find a use for it beyond the forum
What good reasons are there? AFAIK I've only heard bad things about Twitch, like the Yandere Simulator drama, Staff being biased and allowing big streamers to break the rules, and how they rigged the system so small streamers will barely get any views.

I have seen a YouTube video that showcases 1.12.2 without a World Border and the ability to interact with stuff beyond 30 million blocks. They also showcased teleporting hundreds of millions of blocks beyond the normal limit. The only issue is that the video poster did not release the mod for download(most likely to get more views/view time), and there are no tutorials online for removing the World Border and 30 million block limit for 1.12.2, let along removing the 30 million block limit.
I personally would like to have a mod like this publicly available(preferably a JAR mod as I assume the video poster modded the game that way), as it would be neat exploring far beyond the normal game boundaries(especially with the Far Lands enabled) and see if many of the bugs in older versions of the game are still present at these large distances.

Oh cool! I hope that you will be able to catch them and use them in battles like in the current game.

Well that's a bummer. I assume the legendaries are going to be cut as well?

Will the 2nd map include all the Pokemon from the first map?

After updating to 1.12 today, I noticed that I cannot give myself more than one unstackable item at any single time, using /give and /replaceitem. No idea why this happens as I could do this perfectly fine before updating to 1.12. The change-log does not mention this either. What's odd is that Mojang purposely made /give bypass the unstackable item restrictions in a previous update, so it would be odd for them to change it back, and restrict it to one item at any single time.
Is this an intended feature, or is it just an annoying glitch?

Yet Shulker Boxes are better than normal chests, and will obviously be better than Frequency Chests since you do not have to go looking for another Frequency Chest just to access your storage. Same goes for an Ender chest. Once you have Silk Touch, you can carry your Ender chest wherever you go.

We were given Shulker Boxes which let us expand our inventory, and they are already better than Ender Chests pretty much. Heck, most people use Ender Chests just to store Shulker Boxes.

Wonder if it's vulnerable to WannaCry.

You should go and record what it is like near the 32bit limit on the X or Z axis. Literally the only way you can move is by teleporting, and everything is flat(you can even see some mobs rarely spawn past the 32bit limit.

My friend plays MCPE on his Jailbroken iPhone, and has recently installed the new 1.1 update that just came out. After updating, he noticed that he could no longer access any of the skins, texture packs, and maps that he had purchased in the past. He looked through the filesystem of his iPhone and saw that the stuff he paid for was not present anywhere in the app itself or the app's data. All of the stuff he purchased costed him quite a bit of money, so of course he is angry that he can't use the stuff he purchased.
He can't restore from an iTunes backup since that will mess up his jailbreak and ultimately cause his iPhone to stop working, and he refuses to sign up for an Xbox Live account to re-purchase the DLC he paid for.
Is there any way he can get the DLC he purchased back?

Like everyone else has stated, the code simply wouldn't match up.
Also, in the rare chance that this would actually happen, Microsoft could potentially try pushing the Marketplace and Microsoft accounts to every platform to increase profits, which would not only make various gamers angry, but would also make game companies like Sony and Nintendo angry. The last thing a game company would want is a customer using a competitor's game services on their own devices.

If you are using the official launcher, ditch it completely and use an alternative 3rd party launcher like MultiMC, which does not have these annoying issues.

Root your phone and delete the data manually through the filesystem.

I would like to know how to completely remove advancements and the recipe unlock messages from a custom map I am creating, since the player will be receiving certain blocks and items which will be used for purposes other than crafting.

In this video at 3:19, it states that "An Xbox Live Silver or Gold account is required for purchases" because the whole Marketplace apparently uses library management across systems to allow you to access the content you've bought.
This seems like the first step in Microsoft attempting to lock out portions of the game to people that do not have Microsoft Accounts with Paid Xbox Live subscriptions. What do you guys think of this?
