small problem, my fish started breeding like rabbits and are getting pushed out of their tank and dying at a very rapid pace. They're repopulating faster than they are dying.... which is kinda beneficial cause I get an infinite food source, but I don't want to be exploiting a bug, so how do I fix?
I have a small/medium mod idea, I'll be posting a more detailed description in the forums later but basically its a sealing/warding mod.
If we stick to the absolute basics of the mod it would add in a few new items that allows you to create seals and wards. (they can be made in different ways and can vary in strength) A seal basically prevents mobs from leaving a certain spot or area. A ward prevents them from entering an area and forcibly ejects them from said area.. (and they can be broken down and escape, though one mob probably won't be able to do it)
If we wanted to make it a little more complicated we could add in sealing tools/weapons, warding talismans, vessel seals, cursed items/weapons, etc.
Sealing items would seal a mob into another item or into itself.
Warding talismans would be like wards you could hold instead of placing down.
Vessel seals would allow you to seal a mob into another mob or yourself giving you or the second mob attributes from the sealed mob. (Ex. sealing an enderman within a creeper would allow the creeper to teleport)
Cursed items would basically be an item with a mob sealed within it that gained an attribute (Ex. sealing a blaze within a sword would give it fire aspect)
And if we wanted to take it one step further make it multiplayer compatible and be able to seal/ward other player characters.
I'm certain. I know that if you create a new dimensional door everything should be black, until you place something. Even if I place something and if I find a dimensional ruin nothing renders. Walia still recognizes blocks in front of me but I can't see them. (only happens with SEUS)
Issue with shaders. If I have any of the SEUS shaders applied and enter a dimensional door nothing renders. Everything is just black. Problem with the mod or with the pack maybe? Any suggestions?
Ok so I have a little issue, one pack I like has everything wave how I like it, but the lighting isn't very good. Another has glorious lighting, but not everything waves and the shadows have this ugly jagged edge on them. and the last one has beautiful shadows, but not everything waves and the lighting is terrible.
So I thought to myself, why not combine resources and make a pack that has everything wave like the first one, lighting like the second and shadows like the third. But I ended up with the following picture...
Is there a proper step by step on how to combine shaderpacks without doing this???
Playing with optifine on 1.7.10 and it keeps disabling dynamic lights, it says to check the config file but I've got no clue how to fix it. What part of the config file am I looking at?

So I downloaded this mod called the Sonic the hedgehog mod which adds in a bunch of cool items and features stuff from the sonic games. But I felt that it wasn't done as well as it could have in regards to the chaos emeralds. So here is my idea for a chaos mod!
Chaos emeralds:
first off only seven would spawn in your world, making them incredibly hard to find. However, when you have one chaos emerald and get close enough to another you will receive a lighting effect and the area where the other is will begin to glow as well. The more emeralds you have the stronger the glow will be. When all seven are collected the player will receive a yellow aura, flight and the ability to plow through blocks (much like the ender dragon). The player's chaotic abilities will also increase. If the player's chaotic abilities aren't high enough the chaos emeralds will consume power rings during super form.
Power Rings and Ring Pools:
Power rings will spawn in random chests all over the world and will occasionally be dropped by mobs. However if you are lucky enough you may find a ring pool which will spawn a ring every so often. Power rings when used will boost speed, jump, attack and defense for a short period of time. They will also be used to fuel the chaos emeralds.
Chaotic abilities:
These abilities allow players to tap into the power of chaos. when the player starts out, he/she will have 0 chaotic abilities. However, the longer a player holds an emerald/rings or stands near the master emerald the higher his/her abilities will grow. Rings will require large amounts and lots of time to grow so those aren't your best option. Chaos emeralds power up your abilities faster (and the more the merrier) but still requires some time to complete. The Master emerald is your best option but requires you to stay near it for some time. Here are some of the abilities you can learn in order of easiest obtained to hardest
Sonic Boom: this is the easiest skill to acquire and allows you to propel forward at incredible speeds.
Homing attack: whilst in mid air players are able to launch towards their opponents and attack (initial impact does do damage)
Chaos Impact: causes a small earthquake that damages all mobs around you
Chaos boost: an alternate form of the sonic boom, this lasts much longer and increases the effects (and also gives player a blue aura)
Invincibility: instead of taking damage the player will drop rings (so long as he/she has some)
Chaos spear: this launches a projectile of chaos energy
Chaos nightmare: enemies close by will be knocked back along with a little damage
Chaotic clone: for a short time this will create a duplicate of yourself to aid you in battle
Chaos burst: creates a short ranged explosion
Chaos Magic: these can be placed in the over world (up to 5) then used to create small explosions
Chaos lance: makes a beam of energy between the target and user. The user then charges forward doing lots of damage to the target
Chaos control (time): this will slow down time to a near halt for a limited amount of time (haha, like that makes sense)
Chaos spear barrage: this creates multiple chaos spears around the player and launches them at the target
Chaos snap: a advanced version of the homing attack this allows the player to teleport instantly to the closest hostile mob
Chaos Nature: attaining a super form will no longer deplete rings
Chaos Blast: the player releases a huge wave of energy damaging mobs and completely flattening the area around the player
Chaos Control (space): this allows the player the save a "waypoint" and return at any moment, or if using the quick version allows the player to teleport a certain amount of blocks (depending on how much chaos power he/she has)
Chaos Rift: this causes a random effect out of any of the vanilla effects (slowness, nausea, weakness, etc.) or completely removes the target from the world completely. (if used on another player he/she will simply die)
Chaos Control (projectile time): only usable in a super form, this launches a projectile that causes the target to go in slow motion until either the user dies, the user removes the effect or 3 minecraft days have passed

Chaos Devastation: basically the player can throw a giant nuke

only one will spawn in the over world but will increase chaotic abilities faster than anything else. However, to use the master emerald the player must either tame or defeat the guardian. If the guardian is defeated though, mobs will be able to attack the master emerald. (the guardian would kill any mob that comes close) Should the master emerald loose all its "health" then it would shatter and the mobs would pick up the shards and walk away. The shards will be flung a great distance so some effort is needed to restore the master emerald. I'm still working on how the guardian is tamed. If the player stands directly on top of the emerald he/she will achieve hyper form along with all the abilities no matter what chaos level they have. However, they lose all that when stepping off the emerald. Should the player have a certain number of rings or the chaos nature ability he/she will be able to maintain hyper form for an extended period of time.
Hyper form:
Players are able to use the highest forms of chaos along with flight. Only attainable through exposure with the master emerald.
Super form:
Players are able to use the highest forms of chaos along with flight and block destruction (able to plow through blocks). Only attainable through exposure with chaos emeralds
Chaotic form:
Players temporarily boost all current chaos abilities or trade all for one super ability. Player becomes invincible to all methods of damage, and gains increased jump, speed, attack, and defense. (cannot fly) Only attainable by trading 500 rings by pressing a certain key button.
