Turn off AA/AF in your video card control panel.

It could be 'Use application settings' or 'Let application decide' based on the brand of graphics card you have.

Thank you, this seemed to work.

So I updated to 1.4.2 a few days ago planning on hopping on a server with some friends. I decided to check on my world first and when I loaded, everything seemed to have a grid. I thought it was a new setting and keep looking for a way to turn it off, but nothing fixed it.
    http://gyazo.com/714...e987d1316620fee
Here's what I mean, it's most visible on sand, or on far away blocks (sorry for ads), but all the blocks have a border. And no it isn't the texture pack, It happens with that turned off as well. Full screen or windowed mode, it still happens, any know fixes?

Also any server I try to join displays a ping of ~1270ms, and it shows in game: everything on a server is unplayable because of a large delay, and yet any other game has flawless 70ms ping. Again, only started happening after 1.4.2

EDIT: My computer is able to max out almost any game, so I didn't post specs. But I don't think the hardware is the problem, seeing as how I play Battlefield 3 at ultra...

You do realize it is Survival mode right? if you are mad about your creations being destroyed make them in creative mode? like this is the adventure update...the game is actually fun to play now and has some challenge to it. I love the enderman

I do agree that endermen are exciting when you are a mobile moving type player, but for those of us who make ULTIMATE FORTRESSeses(?) then we don't like hours of work and experimenting being destroyed in minutes.

Well, if anyone here watches ethoslab, you should get a good idea where this house came from! It is an EthosLab spin-off, so trolls, shut-up. Anyway, it hard to get it's total perspective from just screenies, but I love it.

Entrance to the house, using an HD texture pack, and the son looks smexy.

The mob killing machine, basically built the house around this piece of equipment. It has a pretty much 99% chance that a mob will spawn on the spawning grounds below, that hours of spelunking at work.

Just a shot down the elevator with f3 toggled so you can see the mobs, i had just switched it on, so not too many.

One of the walls with block storage, all colors of wool that are Legit, only thing not legit in my world is the glowstone.

Some more storage space, inside that little room is a bunch of furnaces. No item storage space yet, it will be downstairs, and other blocks are stored in circular-open rooms on the corners of the building.

An EthosLab inspired treefarm, not yet grown out with bone meal.

    Small-ish cactus farm.

My room, which is also an arberitum or whatever, greenhouse I guess. My bed is surrounded by reeds, and there is also a mushroom farm, with a semi-automatic collecting feature outside. Reed farm, and wheat farm are also in here.

    My completely rough second level.

I most likely won't be working on this project anymore, as I am doing a Docm77 type of world, I'm a big fan of those two minecrafters! I'd appreciate some comments.

Looks awesome for a first house project.
    'house
AS you advance in your minecraft hours, (I'm over 9000) you'll get a lot better. My first "house" was a 5x5 cave, my second was a hollowed out mountain side with a couple more rooms, then it was a giant mansion, then it was an EthosLab spin-off, now, I'm in the process of re-creating docm77's perimeter. Trust me, skill increases with time my fellow minecrafter.

    Keep up the good work.

Oka i did a schematic to help y'all, what i need is too shrink this, im attaching it to a piston machine the pulls the middle stone out of the vertical 3x3 and then replaces it with glowstone, so smaller is better

Acatera has already created just such a device, and I have created a whole warehouse that is lit by such an invention, your a little late :smile.gif:

DFFs are mainly used as memory in ALUs, CPUs, etc.

JKFFs are very rarely used, because uses for the J and K inputs have not been discovered (yet). Without those inputs, it acts like a T flip-flop, so people use that latch instead.

So in those big cpu projects on the forum they use D Flip Flops to add 1 bit of memory per flip flop, or 2 bits, etc? Or is it exponential

I'm just gonna ask a real complicated question. What do D Flip-flops, JK Flip flops, and all the other "D-" and "JK-" Redstone latches do?

**** his lightswitch design beats mine.. I can imagin what he did there. Ty for posting and giving me fresh ideas lol.

When you break it down, it's quite simple, it's just amazing how someone actually thought of it. Once you've seen it it's easy as 1...2...3...

It's pretty compact and the best one of i've seen because there is no holes left in the ceiling, and the wiring is only 10 wide and 3 in length for each two lights. The best use for it is, like I said, a mob spawner-off switch.

Piston invention that I made using Acateras lightswitch design, It is modular and can be expanded infinitely length wise and width wise. Took about 30 minutes to make, and it looks pretty cool. It's relatively compact, and only takes up about 4 spaces high on the roof. Here's the video.
