Well, if by mature you mean not running around completely destroying everything, being able to learn and not troll all the freaking time, and not screaming or freaking out, then sure. But if you mean by always being completely serious and not making any jokes, then I'm not that, lol.

I know the feels.. I eventually fought back by being calm and collected and getting at them where it hurts. I found out every little thing that urks them and killed them inside with it until they gave up on messing with me. Just ignoring them could work too though. Lol.

Hey, I'm an amateur photography and love taking photographs, but I really need publicity to get very far. I have a website and I would really, really appreciate it if you checked it out and shared my Facebook page and shared me with your friends and family. Thank you in advance! Hope you enjoy it. Sorry if this seems spam-ish or like an ad. I just want publicity.

Okay, here's what I think about the entire situation. You should never hurt someone you love by leaving them like that.

You should try to give her the most sincere apology that you can, and make her truly believe you're sorry for saying those things. Tell her that you still love her and never meant to hurt her like that. Tell her you thought she would be better off with someone closer to her, with enough time. And tell her that you were wrong to leave her even though you love eachother.

Edit: Previous experiences; None. I'm just saying what I would do in this situation. I'm almost in my 10th month in a relationship.

posted a message on Ran Away.. For 2 Hours
Lol, I did it for two hours because I just wanted a short break from hearing arguing at my house and people yelling at me.

Edit: And I didn't want to get in more trouble, and I had nowhere to go if I ran away for a while.

posted a message on Ran Away.. For 2 Hours
So, as of recent, my sister moved back in. She had a baby, and I've only had 4-5 hours of sleep in the last 7 days, until last night. Reason is, I couldn't fall asleep with a crying baby just a room down from me. I already have insomnia, and this is far from helping. So last night, the baby started crying again. I was out of my mind, tired, drunk off of pure exhaustion. So I walked out of my house. But not before grabbing my 4-inch knife, a jacket, $20, and my shoes. I left without anyone noticing. I walked down the street, and walked for about a mile before taking a right onto another street. In total, I walked for about 1 or 2 hours. The distance, around a total of 4 miles. around the 2 mile mark, some stray dog started following me. Soon after, a dog of the oppossite gender walked past and the stray followed it instead. Once I reached the point where the good neighborhoods were seperated from the lower-class neighborhoods, a few gunshots went off and I tried to hitchhike with the first car I saw.

That's where I kept the knife close. The guy that pulled over turned out to be tweaking, probably on heroin (I assume this because, well, the rubber band tied to his arm and the 2 needles in the passenger seat.) So I told him "Nevermind, I can make the walk on my own." After a few more gunshots I kicked up my pace and got home. I was finally to the point where I could ACTUALLY SLEEP! I managed to pass out in my bed before the baby could start crying again. Best part is, my parents didn't notice I was gone or when I left or came back. Other than the baby, I've been having to care for the baby instead of my sister caring for it the most. I've also had to do my sibling's chores for them, and getting yelled at for every tiny thing I do wrong. So, it was a nice 2 hour break from life. Other than the tweaker, of course.

So, anyone else got any stories of when they ran away from home? Even for a short period of time, like I did.

On a Bacon Double Cheeseburger from Sonic. Best burger I've ever tried. Or just plain. Now, I only weigh 75-80 pounds, which is underweight, but once, I ate 2 pounds of bacon in 30 minutes.

    Quote from Squidling

Nice photography work there, what camera setup do you usually use?
I would add a better background, white isn't the most decorative color. Also, a good logo wouldn't hurt.

Okay. Thanks for the feedback. I use a Nikon D3100 and an 18-55mm kit lens, and sometimes a 55-200mm lens. I use a macro extension snap-on lens. I'll make sure I make a background soon.

Edit: Oh, and I use a GorillaPod flexible tripod, and some cheap metal tripod. And I hardly ever use them, because of portability issues.

Hey, could you guys please check out my website and give me feedback on what I can change? It's supposed to be a sorta business site for people to learn about me and my photography. I'm not asking you to buy anything or to share it, but that would also be appreciated. Also, sorry if this counts as advertisement. I'm just asking for some feedback and constructive criticism. Here's the site: www.seanpaulsonphotography.com

posted a message on Near-Death Experiences
Oh yeah, I have 2 more experiences, both with lightning. Once, about a half year ago, maybe a full year, I was walking through my kitchen. It was extremely stormy, lots of lightning. I heard a lightning strike hit the house, and then a follow-up. The follow-up ignited my stove, fire blew out of the knobs and the flame barely licked me. Now, I'm afraid to go anywhere in my kitchen during lightning storms.

Second time, I was walking to my next class at school. I had to cross outside from A to C building. Just as I approached the metal covering that led to the ramp in C building, lightning struck around a foot from me. I flew into one of the support beams for the covering. I fell to the ground and people ran up to me and a teacher asked me if I was alright. I couldn't move for a second and they helped me up, and took me to the nurse. She said I would be alright, although my chest did hurt. So yeah, I have bad luck with lightning.

posted a message on What is the most unusual punishment you've ever heard of?
The video torture previously talked about would be much more excruciating if it were emotionally/mentally torturing videos, like a video of murder/suicide or Gore videos. As insult to injury, it could be a video of a relative/friend being tortured or killed. And including the "eyes taped open" and adding audio turned up to high volume, the person could go insane within an hour of the torture session.
