I hate blanket statements but they're more convenient and breath-conserving (or finger strength conserving) than accounting for every individual. And that's a better convenience argument than this thread. :tongue.gif:

Although like I said it is very rare for someone to play the program minecraft and know what a skin is and need one so badly but they for whatever reason can not use paint and do not want to look up a tutorial so have to have a whole new time consuming feature added to the game for them.
Yeah, the rarity pretty much ruins any justification of "convenience"...
His excuse was people wouldn't be smart enough to do it with the current system then he mentioned a friend. To me, that says his friend (and people in general, probably) is too lazy to learn. Then he mentioned downloading and all, which tells me he's too lazy to download a few things (which is likely ironic). Sounds like he wants some simplified handout to accommodate laziness. The mention of kids seemed more of an afterthought.
And kids can learn too anyway, if by some slim chance the concept even crosses their minds. It won't kill them. Sure, it might take a bit more time or effort, but that's better than the incessant spoonfeeding and coddling kids get today. They can handle the current system or go without. It'll be a good lesson for life.
(And yeah, I'm a cynical asshole. Sue me. :iapprove:)
Off topic: Are you saying I am coddled and spoonfed? I do well at school because I like to learn. I have been admitted to Bronx School of Science, one of the best high schools in the country. There is no way you can call me coddled or spoonfed.
MC skin edit has a gui interface. It is unbelievably simple. USE IT AND SHUT UP.
I do use it Herp McDerpington. It should be implemented in the actual game it's self so people don't have to hunt/download it. I can see some of you are amateurs and can't see outside the box. It's not very professional to leave a feature like this out when every other game featuring avatars has it. That's what set's them apart. They care about the customers to have a such a simple feature in the game. Why? Because it's more CONVENIENT then having to close the game, open up a 3rd party program and edit your ****.
I happen to be an eighth grader that has several awards in academics, which includes English. I go to one of the best Catholic schools in N.Y.C. Of course I know what it means. While I am ranting, I see several errors in your grammar. Have you even taken English, or are you just a product of the American public school system?
OT: I would rather have Notch improve the game and make it more interesting than bust his ass because people are lazy idiots.
You know, you could just edit it outside the game instead of making people (Mojang or modders) do more work for your laziness...
That's the problem. Not everyone is smart enough to figure this out. Such as my friend. Did you not ready what i posted about having to download and open up other programs just to do a simple task? It should be included when the game officially comes out by the end of the year. Little kids who play Minecraft aren't going to know how to do all this editing and know what programs to use.
