Hey fellow minecrafters! Honestly I don't know, is this idea worthy to be in separate topic, but I think that it's big enough, and gameplay improvement after all.
The main point of my suggestion is to add a new equipment slot in survival and adventure modes.
It should be placed on left from the player's picture in inventory window with shild-shape icon on the background.
The main functions of off-hand slot:
You can place here almost any item or block. If player have something in his off-hand slot, it will be automatically used by right-clicking, and it will disable using of blocks and food in main hand till off-hand item will be removed. Torches and redstone torches in your off-hand slot should be lit as if you had placed them on the wall/floor.
Advantages of this improvement:
1) Carry light with you without need to place a torch on the wall. You can still place it by right-clicking (but torch will be removed from off-hand slot). Does this slot will be allowed to contain torch stacks?
2) Eat while still handling weapons. Get a little snack during the battle!
3) Use shield to protect yourself! Will disable sword's blocking ability though.
4) Twin tools?
I hope people will find this idea useful.

Nov 7, 2011I guess it is possible to make a feature like that.Posted in: Suggestions
Let's pretend that you are a player who made a house and bed in it. And then you are falling asleep, but SUDDENLY a mosner spawns in your bedroom so you are forced to fight back. Then you are seeing that you have an icon with three green Z's, red circle around them and crossing out red line.
That means that you have Insomnia status and it won't allow you to go to bed for a few minutes. Also you will recieve an effect similar to one you gain while eating Zombie Meat, but not so powerful.
In short, you cannot go sleep and you are enormously hungry.

Endermen are strange black creatures, they are taller than human in half, have beasty legs and unproportionally long clawed arms. They are walking over the Minecraft world and moving blocks by their own shady purposes.
At a meeting with such a creature there is only one term: DO NOT LOOK INTO THEIR EYES! More precisely, do not aim them with your crosshair/cursor/whatever you name it. Because then it will deop it's carry and blink to your position in order to kill, kill, kill!
That's why it much easier to shoot down the Endermen from far distances with your bow.
Actually, Notch has nerfed Endermen much since 1.8 patch pre-release and has changed their eye color. From the beginning they has aweesome green eyesand I still like em very much. :happy.gif:
Enderman: "Way to go, comrades!"
Enderman: "Come with me, I'll show you wonders of this world!"
Someone definetely has bad day...
Steve: "Bad day, bad day, bad day!"
Enderman is showed from unexpected side.
Enderman: "I grant you this golden block, friend!"

Sep 11, 2011Sometimes leaving items in crafting slots in workbench forcing them to auto-drop. Then there are appearing two glitchy "infinite" items (it was with sticks and planks for me) that aren't stack with similar items and just disappearing when you're trying to stack them.Posted in: Minecraft News

Jun 7, 2011The Macrofigures is a name of my new LEGO modelling style that represents action figure of humanized characters from different fictions.Posted in: Fan Art
Macrofigs has many points of articulations that provides maximal moveability.
The idea of making such a figures has came to me after meeting the Herobrine's Phenomenon. =D I wanted to build him just for fun. AS the result, I has made a few different macrofigures, and, possibly, will make more.
1) First of all, I want to introduce you the main character:
2) The next macrofigure is Herobrine himself.
No need to introduce this white-eyed ghost of Minecraft. =)
3) The third model I've made is a Zombie.
4) The fourth Minecraft-based model is a Skeleton archer:
5) And, at last, the Creeper.
All these models has been created with Lego Digital Designer, an application that made for virtual LEGO modelling. :happy.gif: Enjoy, Minecraft fans!
