    I took a little look today. Seems a lot of issues were fixed, but still way to much water. I may have just had bad luck with the seeds I used, though.

    When The Biv last played...the game was almost unplayable. The algorithm was creating tiny little biomes that all bled into each other and the mountains were stunted.


    I've jumped in a couple times since then, long enough to type in a random seed and see what it generates...and it didn't seemed to be fixed at all.


    It's been a while now and I've come to the conclusion that they had no intention of fixing it.


    Has it changed? Are things better?

    There is severe lag for any "falling" blocks.

    Biome creation is just terrible. Biomes are just fragments.

    That may not be the best term, but it seems you don't see any one biome for more than a short bit and they are all mixed together.


    And there seems to be way too much water with no large land masses.


    Villages seem to be far more rare as well.


    Have I just been really unlucky?

    So the villagers harvest crops. Where do they put the crops after they harvest them? I've seen some potatoes lying around, but no carrots.


    You have to give villagers 12 carrots, 12 potatoes or 3 loaves of bread before they will breed, right? How do you give it to them?

    I don't know. I found a temple in creative and it also had no chests.


    Of note, though, there is a large square of the blue blocks in the center. When you break off the blue bits, there are 27 blocks of gold within.


    I'd say that's a pretty good prize.
