I really would like a block that conducts in all directions. To make a grid of floor pistons reasonable to control. It should be easy, not hard, to control a grid of pistons that all go up at the same time. Simple things should be simple, complex things fun and complex. But having simple things overly complex (the wiring required just to make 5x5 floor pistons go up at the same time) is stupid.

The redstone block does conduct in all directions though.

Awesome idea. Im not sure if the chains would be like vines, where you can pass through them, or solid blocks. Holding blocks would be kinda pointless if it wasn't sand of gravel. I love the idea of attracting animals with wheat on the chain. Chain would be a great way to create chain armor. chain armor is not removed from the game by the way. I am like 70 % sure it can be crafted using fire blocks (idk ask notch) like the actual fire blocks. You can also spawn in the armor.

I found a bug. apon making an enderman angry (Agressive) he will try to hit you once or twice, but when he teleports away, he will forget it ever happened and just walk around (Passive)
