    The world as a whole stops (Well, that's stretching it but with a few command blocks and extra commands, it's possible)

    minecraft:bedrock,230*minecraft:stone,5*minecraft:dirt;minecraft:plains;biome_1

    5 layers of dirt, 230 layers of stone, 1 layer of bedrock. (top to bottom)

    No structures, no lakes, no lava lakes.

    No snow.

    Launched on 1.13.1 successfully.

    Unfortunately, you can only prevent mobs from spawning with console commands (as far as I'm aware) but when I launched the world on that preset, nothing spawned until I set it to night

    The Zombie Pigman was based off an intended mob: The Pigman. A user once suggested the Pigman (this was before the time of Villagers) to be the main thing inhabiting Villages. Notch liked the idea so much that he gave the user a custom 'Bacon Cape'. Soon, everyone wanted a custom cape, so Notch revoked the cape from the user to prevent commotion.

    When 1.13 happened, I was absolutely amazed because, as stated before, every block and item was given its own ID. I no longer had to fiddle around with damage values and could actually get on to doing things. Sure, I have a few commands that don't work, but there are already converters popping up all over the place.

    Anyway, there used to be a crafting recipe for Enchanted Golden Apples (Nine gold blocks around one apple) but it got removed. Mojang obviously didn't like it and removed it. If you're handy with datapacks you could add this crafting recipe into your world if you wanted to. Well, you could turn dirt into diamonds if you wanted to.
