Oh gosh. I am quite horrible at graphics. But I am competent at programing. I have had a good amount of experience in GameMaker, so if you need some help in that regard, I would be happy to help.
Alrighty. Was looking on the fandev site. Cubescape is looking pretty sweet (when did you decide on the name?). Also, what is Lurvive? And I thought you were creating Minecraft 2D.
Wow, I thought that this thread was dead, since the topics I have posted in never seem to update in "my content" since the forum update. It's good to see that it isn't. I'll have to remember to click on my signature more often then.
Here's a problem though: If the code opens a door, why would I ever need to open the door through the code? I have my fists, and I can simply punch them. If you create a nether portal, then I'll use it too. Make a code, I'll guess to victory. Make a lava pit, I'll build my way across. Seal it 100% and neither you or I can enter and you will fail the challenge. Same applies to building it down at the void, you won't be able to build your way in.
It's not possible to build such a thing.
Also, codes don't matter. You can punch the door down and walk through.
The people creating the unbreakable vault are not using a door to get in because that is obviously a design flaw that is very easy to overcome. If you think that the only way to enter something is through a door, then it would be beneficial for you to at least read through the last couple pages to understand what the current design is using.
