A Sense of Humor What are your strengths as a builder: My strengths tend to lie in redstone the most, but I can also do interiors and normal builds as well. If given a direction of what to build, I can usually deliver (as in, telling me what exactly you want instead of just saying 'do whatever.') What builds do you enjoy most: I don't really have a personal favorite. If my client likes what he/she sees, then I'm happy. If the redstone works as it should, I'm happy. I will say that Medieval builds grind me a bit; not because I can't build that style, I just feel it is overdone to death and back. I do understand it is overdone for a reason (most popular I suppose), but I like to be building original builds rather than 'guaranteed-and-safe' builds. Additional Information: I use Skype and TeamSpeak, but you have a better chance of contacting me through skype if you're looking for me and I'm not on the server. I also have a job irl, so I may be on more at night, unless I have a day off with nothing going on.
Knowledge of Pokemon/Pixelmon: Been playing pokemon since Red and Blue version.
Experience of GymLeader before? if so, Tell us about it: I was once a Poison type leader on a server a year or two ago. I don't remember the name, unfortunately. But what I do remember is I was the server owner decided on a policy in case people skipped towns; so I ended up having a few different teams depending on the person's level (for example, someone who just started and assembled a quick team went up against a low-leveled Oddish, Grimer, and Zubat. But at the same time, I had a really strong team of a highly leveled Muk, Wheezing, Vileplume, Victreebel, Tentacruel, and Nidoking)
What Gym do you want? If it isn't too late, I would enjoy being your Ground-type leader.
Are you a good builder? if so, give us some examples: I've done some more stuff than this, but they are on servers that have long closed down, unfortunately. A lot of what I've built is mostly redstone things, so I even made my own gym devices when I was a leader.

Hellish arena. Basically locked someone in, some creatures spawned naturally, others by dispensers. Features lava blade lighting since normal lava flow felt done to death
Analog redstone clock. Depending on the request, it can tell real time, or even Minecraft time.

Why would we choose you?: Aside from knowledge on pokemon since Gen 1, was a poison type leader on a different pixelmon server, and also know a good amount of competitive battling; I'm also a good builder and redstoner. And so long as the server is up, you can be sure I'll be on when not at my job in real life.
Banned before?: No. There isn't really much else I can say on this matter other than "No."
I've only seen the anime, and a coworker ended up spoiling all of season 2 to me, so I'm interested if this will happen. So go ahead and add one to the 'Interested' side, but I'll wait for definites before I apply if its all cool with you. I'm already a part of two other servers that are kinda up in the air about whether or not they'll be connectable again. >.>

Why do you want to build here?: I've been away from minecraft to deal with some personal issues, but I remember Pixelmon and Redstone being two things I really enjoyed about minecraft before my little 'slump.' I'm looking to get back into things again, and with all of the servers I used to build on being either dead, never updating into the latest versions, or both; I figured roll the dice and come here.
How much time can you build daily?: 4-6 hours average. I do have a job, so that could be more or less depending on how I plan days off.

Most of my saved builds were redstone. I can do some actual buildings and such, but redstone devices for Gyms was my forte back in the days. But my better stuff is lost to the void due to being on dead servers.

No problem. Also, not sure if these counts as a pulse generator under normal circumstances, but I do know these contraptions.
Despite the pic, this is a design that emits really rapid pulses in a short amount of time. Super simple to make, though technically it does take up a 3x3 space. Also, it kinda has a bad rep since griefers will hook up doors and pistons to it for that classic noise machine.
This kinda seems like more of a timed switch, since the amount of items you put in depends how long something stays on/stays off. If you put only one item in, it'll make pulses (not short ones, mind you). However, it is noisy as hell, and it takes up a 2x6 area. But if hooked up and loaded up right, it can replace the need to use long loops of repeaters to generate a pulse in a certain amount of time.
FWI: To generate a 1 tick pulse, this no longer works as of 1.5 or later
Still limits a pulse, which is all I needed it to do. Plus, it is silent, somewhat compact, and easy for me to remember.
Of course, I haven't really done anything challenging enough for me to use a limiter as of late (kinda in a nasty slump), so if I ever come across a situation where I do need such a chokehold on a pulse, and mine isn't quite achieving that, I'll definitely keep some of yours in mind.
I think I have the answer for ya:
Where you have your lever, make a wire of redstone connect to a block. Then on that block, place a redstone torch. Next to the torch, place your piston.
When place, the piston will automatically extend, so space accordingly.
The only catch is the lever's on/off will be reversed; so turning the lever on will actually turn the piston off, and vice versa.
However, since the piston will be getting power from the torch, removing the lever won't cause the piston to retract when removed.
You can also place the lever directly on the block with torch, but I'm not sure how compact/big you want to make it, so up to you.
