I'm not sure what you mean by the "nightmare" feature. There was a feature request for dreams, but I believe it was declined because playing Minecraft while simulating Minecraft would kill performance.
I'm currently not taking feature requests right now. My focus is on getting just a rudimentary version of the mod together.
It will be updated to 1.4.7 if I can manage it before the next version of Minecraft drops. Trying to keep up with the latest version of Minecraft and all the development tools without an internet connection is a giant pain.
you know, when your bed wasnt in a "safe or "unsafe" position and you had bad deams that came true...
atleast thats what i thought...
Dec 27, 2012i just bought a corsair H100i with 2 extra corsair sp fans to cool a new 3770k. how much should i overclock so that the extreme renderdistance renders as smooth as the far render distancePosted in: Minecraft Mods

Just because he doesn't want it in a modpack out of the box, doesn't mean the users can't come here and download it themselves to install.
but enough of that i see the mod pack argument EVERYWHERE. oh btw malfunction i kind of liked the "nightmare" feature can you bring it back? maybe with a confing or in the options
Nov 24, 2012TerraFreeze posted a message on [1.2.5] MoreCreeps & Weirdos v2.62 SLOT MACHINES - OLD LADIES - RAGING BULL - PET RADIO - NEW ITEMS!wow...i thought the creator of the somnia mod was the only one having issues updating...guess i was wrong. i haven't used this mod in a while (since beta 1.3 i believe) awesome stuff seems to have been added since then ,cant wait till the update. Till then thank you for your hard work and being patient with people constantly asking for a update, i would have spazzed out a long time ago if i answered someone saying its going to be updated, then another person asks the same question right after i answerPosted in: Minecraft Mods

Almost certainly not -- 145 basically is a multiplayer server internally.
This is why the current version stopped at 125.
and that is also why alot of 1.4.5 mods have more multiplayer support
remember in the beta days...
EVERYONE wanted a smp mo creatures

I know that it does say [1.2.5] at the top but:
1. Does it work with 1.4
2. If not, will it be updated to be compatible with 1.4?
As I really love this mod and also really like the new features in 1.3 & 1.4. So I don't really want to back date my Minecraft every time I check out a new version to be able to use this mod :/
its not updated, if you werent sure, you should've read the last few pages and ran into a discussion about the mod being updated.
keep this in mind for all mods that are not up to date

*sigh* There goes one of the best Minecraft mods of all time.
R.I.P. Somnia (beta 1.2_01 - 1.2.5). You'll be missed
dont say that hopefully this mod will be updated till the end of the world

I'm a little confused about Optifine.
Is Optifine for people who have crap computers and need help getting a framerate, or does it actually offer some useful features for those of us whose computers are more than adequate for minecraft?
I downloaded the "Ultra" version, and my screen was flickering when minecraft started. Plus, I could see a weird little mirror image in the lower-left corner of my screen.
only download the ultra version if you have a multicore cpu and a pretty good graphics card...( for nice awesome settings)
lets say i have a beast cpu. i set the chunk loading to multicore to speed world loading and increase my fps. then i put on anti aliasing and antisotropic filtering to smooth out texture from afar(but drops framerate a little). also custom fog, texture pack support, connected textures, random mobs and alot more. if you have a old but ok cpu that has a 2nd core, download the ultra version. if you have a complete piece of crap, download the smooth version for optimization
