posted a message on Reinforced Items v1.16 ++ Adds uses for steel, gold, and diamond blocks!
    Reinforced Items
    This mod requires ModLoader.

This mod allows the player to craft tools out of gold, steel, and diamond blocks. It also adds obsidian ingots and obsidian bricks, both of which can also be crafted into tools.

    Announcements 12/02/13:
I've released a 1.4.7 update for the mod, v1.16! Check the change log!

Please note that every time I change the announcements, the color of the text changes too, so that you can easily see if there is anything new.

    (Official video coming... eventually)

    FAQ:
    What does this mod do?
Look at the beginning of the thread. I've stated the purpose of the mod there.

    How good are these tools?
Very good! Here are the specs:

*When using 2, it's the reinforced version of the respective tool.
**Harvest level determines what tier of ores the tool can mine.
***How fast the tools mine their corresponding blocks.

Can I ask you a question?
    Sure! :)

    Recommended Mods:
Equivalent Exchange - This mod makes it easier for the player to acquire diamonds and other things to help you build these reinforced items.
ModLoader - Makes the mod work O.O

    Changelog:

    v1.16
Decided to go ahead and update the mod so that it works with 1.3.2! Was harder than I thought; seems like a lot of the vanilla coding was changed since 1.2.5. Anyway, it works! Go ahead and download it via post #1 and/or leave some feedback in the reply section! :) I also added another recipe...

    Obsidian Brick:
Putting an obsidian brick into a crafting grid will allow you to get back the nine obsidian ingots it took to make the brick. This should basically have been in the mod since I added the obsidian brick, but better late than never.

    v1.13
Some major balancing stuff I did. When I first set the values for the new tools, I completely messed the math up (instead of multiplying by either 11 or 9), I multiplied by 27, yeah, so big mistake fixed right here. This, of course means, that tools are extremely nerfed, but rightly so, as the tools were overpowered by far.

    Steel:
-Lowered max uses from 6750 to 2250 (keep in mind regular diamond tools have 1561 uses).
-Lowered efficiency on proper material from 8 to 7 (regular iron tools have a value of 6 and diamond tools have 8)

    Reinforced Diamond Tools:
-Lowered max uses from 42147 to 14049.

    Reinforced Golden Tools:
-Lowered max uses from 864 to 352.

    Obsidian Tools:
-Increased max uses from 2033 to 3122.

    Reinforced Obsidian Tools:
-Lowered max uses from 72000 to 28098.

    v1.11
-Added obsidian bricks (crafted by putting 9 obsidian ingots together in the workbench.)
-Added Reinforced Obsidian Tools to the mod (made using obsidian bricks and metal rods.)
-Nerfed the regular obsidian tools (refer to FAQ section).

    v1.03
-Updated for MC 1.00 (now 1.25)!
    -Added regular obsidian tools.

    v1.01
    -New textures for the tools.

    v1.0
-Added Stick and Ingot (made by putting a stick and iron ingot next to each other, putting the item back in the crafting grid would result in getting your ingot back).
-Added Metal Rod (made by smelting the stick and ingot).
-Changed recipes to, instead of using sticks, now use metal rods.

    v0.8
-Fixed the fact that reinforced gold tools were made by dirt, not golden blocks. :D

Thank you rbailey5 for making the textures for the tools!

posted a message on Why do old people not like skrillex?
The OP said that dubstep is not a sub-genre of electronic. Not true. Why wouldn't it be? The sounds are made electronically, so it'd be logical to put it in the electronic genre.

Anyway, this has been said previously in this thread, but it's all about what you grow up with. Middle-aged people didn't like metal/rock when that first came out, but now look at the world. A lot of middle-aged people are the ones that listen to it.

As for anyone else who is in their early years and don't enjoy dubstep, that's purely opinion. I could say that rap is the worst plague on Earth, but that would be an opinion, as proven by the huge amount of people do actually like rap.

Honestly, this thread is just a really bad question. The answers are obvious.

None of these are ur textures. All stolen. Going to find the texture pack u stole now....

Edit: Pretty sure u stole some of the textures, if not all from CrEaTiVe_ONE's Medieval pack. Gonna double check.

Edit #2: Verified. You stole the sheep textures. Going to check other textures now.

Edit #3: Yeah, I see you posted in the original thread that this is a mixture of other packs. For that, I have to ask if you even got permission, and even if u did, this is not "unique", as you like to call it.

Looking for good texture makers! I'm terrible at making tools (as you can probably see), so if you think you'd be able to do a better job, shoot me a PM and we can talk :biggrin.gif:

    posted a message on [1.7.3] FixedTools v1.3
    FixedTools

Don't you think it's annoying/weird that an axe cannot effectively break a block like a workbench? That it takes equally as long to destroy it with your fist as it does with an axe? FixedTools is a tiny little mod that tweaks programming of Minecraft and fixes things like this. It's quite a useful little mod to have.

Full list of blocks the mod fixes:
Pickaxe: dispensers, pistons, sticky pistons, piston extensions, furnace (idle), powered rails, detector rails, rails, levers, and buttons.
Axe: leaves, note blocks, powered rails, detector rails, rails, wooden stairs, workbenches, signs, wooden doors, ladders, wooden pressure plates, cacti, jukeboxes, fences, pumpkins, jack o' lanterns, and trap doors.
    Shovel: none.
    Hoe: none.
    Sword: none.

    Instructions:
    1. Go into Start > Run %appdata% > Press enter.
    2. Open up the .minecraft folder > bin.
    3. (Optional) Make a back-up of the minecraft.jar file.
    4. Open minecraft.jar with winRAR/WinZip/etc.
    5. Delete the META-INF folder.
    6. Drag the .class files from the .rar file you downloaded from this thread on top of the other .class files.
    7. Close minecraft.jar
    8. Play Minecraft. :smile.gif:
