Hello again! I've got a few questions. First, does/will Optifine have full custom color support like MCPatcher did? I noticed it's currently not using my custom colors for stone, redstone, etc. Also, same question about CIT. In MCPatcher I was able to set armor textures and such and it no longer show.
If it turns out that this is already a feature then I must have something set wrong or something changed between updates
Thanks,
Hunter
OptiFine has full custom colors support.
If not working as expected
A. Check if Video Settings -> Quality -> Custom Colors is ON.
B. Read the error log and check all warnings generated by Custom Colors. There may be broken textures, invalid configurations, etc. -

eleventeen11 posted a message on OptiFine HD (FPS Boost, Dynamic Lights, Shaders and much more)Posted in: Minecraft ModsThis is a vanilla bug! Although I haven't experienced it myself (I have watched a few Twitch streams where this has happened) apparently when mining too quickly some blocks with appear to be broken when they really aren't. The blocks can usually be fixed by re-logging.
I'm not sure if Optifine would have anything to do with making it worse by chance but it could be possible...

It's not really an actual connected texture. Conquest uses connected textures to create alternate textures. If you're in one of these biomes you'll get the alternate texture: BirchForestHills BirchForest BirchForestHillsM BirchForestM IceMountains -

Hello!
My apologies if this has already been addressed or is currently being worked on, but I noticed that CIT armors only change icon textures and not the actual armor texture. (Using the latest preview release)
(I made an iron helmet that changes into a creeper mask when named "Creeper Mask" but only the icon texture changed.)
To be fixed. -

I'm pretty sure that 1.9.1 doesn't change anything that he's been working on. It's mostly changes to the combat system concerning the cooldown. Shouldn't take him long to get that stuff merged with what is done already. - To post a comment, please login.

It's a manually updated progress percentage and not something like an update bar that shows 73%, 76% etc. What will likely happen is OP will spike it up to 90% when that much progress is done, and then will release a full version some time after. While 70% of the work is done, it doesn't reflect the amount of time it will take to hit 100% since development only happens when OP has time to do it.
Any updates after 1.9, OP shouldn't have to start from scratch again. The majority of the work is the transition from 1.8.x into 1.9, any subsequent 1.9 updates will probably take a fraction of the work. Even if 1.9.1 comes out, we can still continue to use 1.9.0 with Optifine in the meantime. The only affected users are those who use realms as they are locked to the most recent version.

It has only been a couple of days, this mod is nowhere near dead. In fact, this is one of the fastest Optifine progress updates I've seen. sp614x is doing amazing work (for free. Some of us donated, but it isn't a requirement)
