So guys what are you going to do in minecraft for Christmas? I probably won't be on to play, because I'll be opening gifts( or bags of coal, I don't know) and messing/setting them up. I know on Mindcrack, the guys did a Santa thing, so you could do that. Share your ideas people!!
I dislike the new tooltips because it does not save much time at all. There's no point in showing you the name of the item in your hand; after all, if you even have the item you must know what it is in the first place! The most annoying part of this feature is the fact that it's repetitive. For example, if you're getting wood, every time you pick up the log or sapling, it shows the text again. I mean, I understand what I just picked up was wood, and you don't need to keep telling me this! Mojang should really make it so that Minecraft will only show you the tooltip for the item or block you pick up once per minute so this doesn't get repetitive.
OPTIFINE added an option to disable them, it is not a default option for some reason (I couldn't reply to the post for some reason)
Anyway, you guide is "wrong" you only disable ADVANCED tooltips which I think is showing the special names (like it will show "Johnny's Sword" instead of diamond sword if you renamed it) you need to turn of the other option that is showTooltips or something like that.
Those tooltips can: show noobs iteams, or help tell what a item is in a texture pack, and I think if had appeared in Mojang's mind before, they would have added this
You may have seen the new tooltips and hated them, or loved them. I just found out how to disable them. Go to .minecraft, then options.txt, and change held item tooltip to false. See how this works people! I hope this helped
I think 1.3.2 because it added Ender chests and a lot of good stuff. The update where enderman came was good(can't remember what update it was I think it was1.2 something lol)
Enderchests are good. I think 1.3 before the creepy Enderman sounds
People have associated every Voxel based game to be a spin-off or rip-off of Minecraft... Took a 10 second glance at this game and saw it was hardly like Minecraft. Youtube has been mobbed with Cube World. Bdouble100, Nerd3, ect.
