    What is your IGN?
    um52
Why do you want to join CommuCraft?
I want to be able to play on a survival server with friendly people that is not overrun by things like bukkit messages and command, all those protection signs and zones (not saying I'll abuse my freedom, just all that restriction does not feel vanilla to me and gets on my nerves), and immature people.
How old are you? (over 15 is preferred, but if you are younger and your application shows that you are mature you may be accepted anyways.)
I am 14, just a month shy of 15. I feel I am very mature for my age, and I know that if you get to know me better you will feel the same way. :)
What time zone do you live in?
    CST
How long have you been playing MineCraft for?
    2 years or so
If we were to do some events like the MindCrackers do, like UHC, would you be able to participate? (does not affect your chances of getting in)
I would love to, but we'll have to wait and see on the time. (For any UHC fans out there, go team Single Malt Scotch!)
Will you be active on the server?
I'm not going to let it take over my life, but if I enjoy myself I'll play. :)
Tell us something interesting about yourself!

On my (no longer running) private survival server, we had a prank wars of our own! Here are a few highlights:

You are obviously very young, so I think that you should try to be more mature in making these posts. Otherwise, no one will take you seriously. :)

No theme required but I have basicly gotten rid of open invite. Unless I pm you and say you can join then you can't join.

    Ah. Ok then, thanks.

Is there any specific theme? I might be interested in doing the remaining intersection.

posted a message on I need a good texture pack for my map. Any suggestions?

Which one of those three would make it look the best in your opinion?

Try all three and decide for yourself.

Still nope. I understand not knowing how to do stuff, but I recommend figuring it all out BEFORE posting for future reference. Also, some pictures would not hurt. :)

What about an abandoned Cold War-era style military compound? You could have traps that the Soviets (or Americans, it's up to you) set up to protect their information and maybe monsters would be an experiment gone wrong?

posted a message on A Homely Home - How can I improve it?
Hello, everyone! I recently had an idea for an adventure map (that I won't be disclosing at this time :D ) and it required a log cabin at the beginning. The house is supposed to be where you (the main character) lives before setting off on your journey, so a pretty standard adventure map beginning. Simple, right? Problem is, I'm terrible at building. For some reason, nothing I make seems to come out quite...right. After a little bit of debate on asking someone else to help me, I decided just to start placing blocks and see where that led me.

After about an hour of fartin' around with tiny details, I came up with this:

I'm pretty happy with it, but I'm sure it could be much better. All of you great builders out there: please leave me some tips/constructive criticism! If anyone hates it, say so. I can take it. If you would be so kind though, please leave me at least a reason for your dislike. :) I'll post the rest of the pictures at the end of this post. Thanks for your time!

Side view. (Ignore all those other things in the background :Sheep: )

A closer view into the shutters of the attic.

    The chimney and rising smoke.

View from the entryway. I tried to go for a cozy, well-loved home feel.

The fireplace doubles as a cooker! (Don't worry fire spread is off.)

Prized possessions! (My favorite part of the house)

    Stairway into the basement.

Currently the basement leads to nothing. That'll be added on later.

    The attic from the ladder.

A brilliant view of my random contraptions from the attic window!

Any amount of feedback helps! :D

I know it's been a long time since these posts were made, but I feel like I should reply anyway just in case the posters return to the thread.

maybe it's just that i'm trying to play a map set for something 1.3 or 1.4 in 1.25, but i start outside of the submarine

or to be more accurate: I start inside the iron blocks that make hull and fall out of them and into the water

edit: Tried the 1.2 version, it's my fault for trying to play a new map in old minecraft. Also, i am going to see how fast i can get a nether portal and will return with results.

edit edit: A nether portal took roughly five minutes, including load time during the portal, did you do anything special at all with the nether or is it just the nether?

Not yet. Maybe someone could suggest something? BTW, I'm not sure what the problem is. When I uploaded the map I wasn't having any problems. Someone want to verify this issue? :)
