    You are correct, I am sorry for overreacting. I've just seen a few too many posts about ender pearls forcing endermen to teleport away; they don't. The thing is, if you are near them and you look at them, they will teleport behind you so you can't see them. No matter what you're holding.

    Dear God, are you spreading this to every Ender Pearl thread? Please, try this out with a clock in your hand. It will do the EXACT SAME THING. Ender pearls are useless.

    This is inaccurate. Go ahead, try the same thing with any item in your hand. Hell, and empty hand will work. It does nothing.

    I did just read that apparently, strongholds are not generating at all due to a bug (stickied "why 1.8 isn't out" thread), but still curious about huge shrooms. I think they may not make it in, they're not in the creative inventory.

    Meh, I'd prefer not to have human villages. I mean, if they were added, I wouldn't turn them off, I just think you should be the only human! Otherwise, it would feel like you are a part of the society; at least with pigmen, there is a racial divide that separates you both. I understand and respect your opinion, I would just prefer pigmen.

    Also, if they were pigmen, it would explain why they would be less intelligent (come on, Notch and Jeb are good, but I'm sure the AI isn't going to make the NPC's very bright).

    Do you think that, if pigmen are the villagers that are coming in 1.9 (which I hope), that if someone raids and kills the villagers, that Zombie Pigmen should start spawning on the land following the slaughter? As if the land is now haunted by the villagers you murdered. Or, even if they're humans, they could come back as zombies and skeletons (however, it will be harder to tell, because they spawn normally at night anyway).

    Minecraft isn't entirely meant to be serious :wink.gif: Pigmen are the best bet, while retaining loneliness. Besides, it will explain a lot if the NPC's end up being unintelligent.
