    This is an idea I was toying with last night. Initially, I was thinking about bone weapons, but then it came to me: A bone scythe. The basic format would be :
    [] ]" title="-<->" /> ]" title="-<->" />
    ]" title="-<->" /> [] :|:
    [] [] :|:

    Where ]" title="-<->" /> = Bone

    It would have one use, but would instantly kill the creature you attack. Upon killing a creature with your scythe, they will drop Ectoplasm, which would look similar to a Slime Ball. Each creature would have a different colored ectoplasm:
    :Skeleton: Gray Ectoplasm
    :SSSS: Green Ectoplasm
    :Zombie: Red Ectoplasm
    :Spider: Black Ectoplasm
    :Pig: Pink Ectoplasm
    :Sheep: White Ectoplasm
    And so on and so forth.

    By placing nine of a specific ectoplasm in a crafting grid, it would yield a soul. I think it would be cool if you could make your own Monster Spawners. However, since iron would be too easy, and you need a way to differentiate between hostile and friendly mob spawners, it could be crafted in this pattern:

    :GoldBar: :SSSS: :GoldBar:
    :GoldBar: :GoldBar: :GoldBar:
    Where :SSSS: is the soul of your choice. It could then spawn the creatures at any light level, and can be used as a way to harvest resources, or as defense, as they will fight your enemies. However, you'd need a way to give enemies the capability to destroy them. Perhaps an AI that would be specifically drawn to destroying your Monster Spawners. Just an idea. Feel free to critique or add.
